Chapter 3
Flamepaw stifled a yawn as she headed for the apprentice's den, thiis was her favorite part of the day, sleeping. Flamepaw closed her eyes and fell asleep.
"Hello Flamepaw," the icy cold voice made Flamepaw's blood turn into ice.
"H-ho-w d-do you know m-my name?" Flamepaw stammered.
"I know all the cat's names..." a she-cat appeared from behind some trees. "It seems like you have a bit trouble with your Clan..." the cat ran her tail across Flamepaw's spine.
"I do. Nobody likes me because I'm so clumsy," Flamepaw looked at the she-cat, "What's your name?"
"Mapleshade..." the cat sighed, "I remember when all the other apprentices teased me..."
"You get teased too?" Flamepaw asked curiously.
"Of course," Mapleshade covered Flamepaw's mouth before she could anymore dumb questions, "I can help you..."
"What do you mean?" Flamepaw was trying to sit still.
"StarClan will always help you... especially this StarClan cat..." Mapleshade meowed, "I will grant one of your wishes."
"I want to be a great warrior!" Flamepaw held her chin high.
"Then with the powers of StarClan, I make you a great warrior!" Mapleshade yowled.
Flamepaw felt some pain before she asked, "That's it?"
"Yes, to know if it really worked, you will feel pain in your body. You have nothing to worry about young one," Mapleshade began fading.
Flamepaw jolted awake, the sunlight had woken her up. Flamepaw got up and stretched.
