2.First flashback

Kam's pov

After my mum came in with food, me and Luke kept talking for a few hours about some of the crazy stuff we did together... NOT THAT! You pervs.

"So...why am I here? In hospital I mean... I don't remember what happened." I finally asked.

I know this is a difficult subject but I need to know what happened.

"Um...car crash." He said.

I don't know if he said something after that because I was feeling like blacking out, but when I woke up I wasn't in a hospital room.

I was in a car.

What? I thought.

Before I could notice who was in that car, another car hit us and we flew off the road.

"Kam!" Luke screams and I open my eyes.

Huh...weird... I could swear it was dark outside just a minute ago. Now the sun shines and hurts my sensible eyes.

"Are you ok?" he asked, worry clear in his voice.

"What happened?"

"You blacked out for a few hours. It's 1PM. I woke you up because you were screaming like one of those chicks in the horror movies." He said.

I couldn't stop the giggle to get out of my mouth. He sure knows how to make me laugh in the most horrible situations.

"Why were you screaming?" He asked me.

I tried to think how to explain without sounding crazy.

"After you told me I was in a car crash, I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was in a car. Then another car bumped into us and I could feel the pain when my head hit the window of the car. Then you screamed at me and...here we are."

He stated at me for at least five minutes before speaking.

"Can you wait until I bring the doctor to speak to you?"

"Why? I am fine. Well ... Not literally ... But I can handle myself."

He looked at me as if trying to say 'do you even believe yourself?'

I huffed and shook my head.

The doctor arrived a few minutes later, but without Luke.

"Where's Luke?" I asked.

"Don't worry." He smiled, showing his perfect white teeth."He just went to eat something while I speak to you. You know... I don't know if I should tell you this, but he stayed here the whole time you were out. Normally, we don't let visitors stay overnight, let alone three months. But he didn't let go of you. Literally. He said that if we want to take you from him we must cut his arms off." He laughed. "So we allowed him to stay here, but he had to help serving the food at breakfast and dinner."

Wow.

"He seems a good friend." He said. "Now... The reason why I came here today is to talk with you about your memory loss."

I nod.

"You hit your head pretty bad in that window an-"

"A window?" I asked. Just like in my dream.

"Yes. And, as you know, you lost your memory. The interesting part is when the lost memories try to come back. You might get them all at once or in small pieces. If so, they might not make any sense at the beginning. I recommend you to keep a journal in which you'll write your memories." He smiled. "Any other questions?"

"Yes. When can I go home?"

He laughed. "In two days. But don't worry. Those days will pass so quickly you won't even notice."
