(Lot's of POV change, sorry lol)

JJ's POV

I got the phone call while I was at Matt's house, helping him figure out how to ask Carter out, 3 hours after Jack and I had done our "exercises". My mom called me to let me know something that I was dreading for a few years now. I excused myself from Matt's and said that I had to go home to clean the house a little with Jack, but I pretended it was ok.

"Bye, JJ!" Matt said.

"Bye." I said, faking a smile and holding back tears.

I get in the car and let everything out. I cried hard. I start the car and drive away. I had to call Jack to let him know I was coming home early.

3rd POV

"Hey baby, what's up?" Jack answered.

"M-my dog S-Stanley j-just died." JJ cried. He knew that he shouldn't be so upset about a dog, but he's known him for what seemed like forever and was very attached to him.

"Oh my god JJ! I'm so sorry! Come home, we can snuggle and watch any movie you want." Jack said, then heard a crashing sound. "JJ?" he didn't get an answer. "JJ?!" He quickly got into his car and drove to the closest hospital between his and JJ's house.

Jack's POV

When I was at the hospital, I went to the front desk and asked, "has Jack Johnson been in here yet?"

"Are you family?" She asked. Normally people might get frustrated at that question but I knew it was her job.

"Yes, his husband." I lied. Technically he isn't my husband, or my fiance, but I plan on proposing to him very soon, sooner than you may know. (Muahahaha)

"He is in room 203." She smiled.

"Great thanks!" I said and walked as fast as I could to the room.

I sat in the chairs outside the room. The doctor came out of JJ's room so I got his attention. "Is Jack going to live?"

"We can't tell right now, but he's in a coma. But if he does wake up, its likely he won't remember anything because he hit his head on the steering-wheel pretty hard. I'm sorry." He walked off.

I started crying. What if he didn't remember me? What if he doesn't even survive?
