Luke's P.O.V
As we were driving down the deserted road, I noticed how peaceful it was. To be completely honest, it kinda scared me. I was so used to seeing people or animals but there was nothing. Absolutely nothing. I heard a small yawn from Lexy and glanced over at her. "Mmhh. Hai Luke." She said as she stretched in Mikey's lap. "Hey baby. Sleep well?" I asked as I looked back to the road. "Yeah I guess. I almost forgot what happened. Oh well. We're almost there just take a left up ahead." I nodded and looked at her. She was gazing out of the window with an unreadable look on her face. I felt bad for my baby. She looked so sad. "I lever got to see Fall out Boy live. Or Panic! At the disco. But as long as I'm with you guys, I think I'll be fine." She said with a small sad smile finding its way to her lips. "And I never got to kiss Selena Gomez but I don't need her. I have you. And I'm sure I'll be fine with that." I said as I took her small hand in my much larger one. She smiled and kissed my hand. "Mmh what about me? What am I chopped liver now?" Mikey said jokingly as he woke up. I chuckled. "We love you to Mike. Don't worry." Lexy said as she kissed his cheek. He smiled and nodded. "Likewise love. Likewise." He said kissing her shoulder.
"Turn here Luke." She said pointing to the exit to the left. I nodded and turned on my blinker for the rest to follow. When I turned, I could see a main road leading into town. "This was where my stepmom used to live." Lexy said sadly looking out of the window. I looked at her sadly and grasped her hand again. "I'm sorry baby. But if it'll make you feel any better we can go to their house and get something of theirs for you." I said hoping it would make her happy. She smiled and nodded. "Yeah I hope they are still alive. I mean they did share my ideas of the apocalypse so yeah." He smiled as she told us to the way to the house. When we got there, it was all bored up and there was writing on it. 'Lexy we are inside and anyone else leave.' She smiled again. "My daddy wrote that." She got out and made sure it was safe and went around back then whistled for us to come around. We walked around and seen her hugging a kid who looked around our age. Jealousy corded through my body at the way he was hugging my baby. "Luke guys this is my stepbrother Andrew. Andrew this is my boyfriends Luke and Michael. And my friends Diana Ceci Ashton and Calum." She gestured to all of us. My jealousy died down.
"Wait. Did you say boyfriends? As in two?" "Yip I did. Problem?" She said sassily. "No just that I'll have to be keeping an eye on more than one boy now." He laughed. Looks like this Andrew dude is close with Lexy. Well i hope that we will be safe here at least for a while.
