winter has a little kiss for me, it falls upon my cheek.  its a cold surrounding, yet warm at center.  I listen to the cotton stuffed quiet...not so much silent, but as if the world's noises were sucked right out of the day.

my moments seem to be sleeping and I am waiting on now.  I have arrived on my mind step, right where I want to be.  And, as it goes, moments awake and the wind blows the noises back through.

winters stings me alert and gentle snowflake kisses now slap my face.  Laughter erupts timidly from my startled heart.  I smile warmly at the chill and thank God for Spring.
