the back door is tight three ways around, but the bottom has started to decompose and no longer meets the threshold flush as it should.
worms and dirt sometimes wash under there after a big rain floods the patio.
in the winter its hard to keep the back room warm, the cold air slashes its way under the door.
time and time again we've had the chance to fix that door but its too much damn work.
we bitch about the worms and the cold air and too much work.
we've learned to live with it rather than try and make a change.
what's a new back door going to do for an old stubborn house anyway.
