Since the puppet master incident jaime been protective over bart. Even M'gann for beast boy. Jaime and bart where at school and jaime had his arm around bart shoulder keeping him close.

"Bart! "

Bart smiled and turned around to see juan with bandages on his cheek and lips stitch up. Bart gasp and went to juan.

"What happened to you juan? " bart ask looking at juan face.

"Ahh nothing just got in a fight. " juan smiled and cross his arms.

Jaime went next to bart and look at juan closely. Something was off about Juan but he couldn't find out what it was.

"Hey bart I was wondering if you want to hangout with me today. " juan look at bart smiling nervously.

Bart smiled and nodded his head.
"Sure that sounds crash. " bart smiled brightly looking at juan.

Jaime frown and cross his arms looking away. Juan smiled and wink at bart.

"Okay I'll wait for you after school. " juan smiled and walk away leaving jaime and bart.

Bart smiled but gasp when jaime pulled him in the bathroom locking the door.

"What were you thinking ese. Going out with him! " jaime said to bart looking at him.

"What. Juan just wants to hangout. " bart said crossing his arms.

"Ese, you know he has a crush on you. " jaime said grabbing bart shoulders.

Bart rolled his eyes and tapped jaime chest.

"Ya I know and he knows that your my boyfriend jaime. " bart smiled and kiss jaime lips.

Bart smiled when he heard the bell and pulled back.

"Don't worry nothing well happen. " bart unlock the door and went out leaving jaime.

~taking a break~

Bart was waiting for juan outside the school sitting down on the stairs. Juan came outside running and look around seeing bart sitting down. Juan smiled and sat down next to bart breathing deeply.

"S-sorry I'm l-late. My c-coach wanted to talk to me. "Juan said looking at bart.

"Hehee it's crash man. Ready to go. " bart said standing up.

"Si. " juan stood up and started walking with bart by his side. "Hey I'm surprised jaime wasn't here with you. "

Bart looked at juan and nodded too.

"Ya i haven't seen him in art class. " bart frown and look at his hands.

"Hey don't get down cereza. Let's go get some ice cream ya. " juan smiled and grab bart hand taking him to the a ice cream shop.

They finally got there and bart smiled while licking his strawberry ice cream. Juan was licking his lemon ice cream and walk outside to the table that were outside. What they didn't know was that someone was watching and that someone was our friendly neighborhood blue beetle (I had to I'm sorry TvT ). Jaime watch as juan talk to bart who chuckle and smiled at juan.

This juan Sanchez seems familiar, Jaime Reyes.

"Ya but where. "

Jaime notice juan was gone and that bart was petting a stray kitten. Jaime was about to get down from his hiding place until he got blast from behind.

"Spying on that cutey aren't you bug. " galaxy smirk while throwing a ball of fire up and down.

Jaime got up and look at galaxy smirk. Jaime turned his hand into a plasma cannon and fired at galaxy. Galaxy smirk and use his shield to push the blast away. The blast then hit the ice cream shop making people scream. Bart look up and saw the sign going down and straight for a lady. Bart got up and push the lady away from the sign. The lady thanks bart and took off running.
Bart sigh and tried getting up but only felt pain. Bart look at his left leg and saw the sign on his leg. Jaime was thrown to the building making bart gasp.

"Blue Beetle! " bart yelled watching his boyfriend get up.

Jaime Reyes our impulse is trap underneath the sign!

Jaime eyes went wide and look at bart who was looking at jaime worried.

"Ba- uh I mean kid are you okay. " jaime got up but was pulled away from bart by a long hand.

Galaxy notice bart trapped under the sign and gasp.

"Why don't you stay here while I play hero hmm. " Galaxy smirk and tied jaime to the mental.

Jaime growled watching galaxy. Galaxy landed next to bart and knee down next to bart.

"Hey you okay? " galaxy ask softly looking at bart.

Bart gasp and look at galaxy worried.

"N-no. " bart said nervous looking around for jaime.

"Hey hey. It's okay I'm not going to hurt you. Here look. " galaxy smiled and lifted the sign off bart who pulled his leg away already felling it heal.

"T-thanks. " bart look at galaxy who smiled but was blasted away from bart.

Jaime stood in front of bart and aimed his plasma cannon at galaxy while helping bart up.

"Stay away from him. " jaime said all deadly.

Galaxy frown and was about to attack until he saw bart face which show fear and worried. Galaxy back down and smirk at jaime.

"Well I'll be going but it isn't over blue beetle. " galaxy smirk and vanish away.

Jaime frown and look at bart worried.

"Are you okay caŕino. He did nothing bad to you. " jaime said checking bart.

"Ya ya I'm fin- oh my gosh JUAN!! " Bart gasp and ran inside the shop where juan went inside to use the bathroom.

Bart went inside and saw juan leaning on the wall with his hand on his side. Jaime and bart ran to juan who smiled and let bart put a arm around his shoulder.

"Juan are you okay. " bart ask when they got outside.

"Ya I'm fine. Are you okay thou. " juan said looking at bart.

"Ya blue beetle was here. " bart smiled and look at jaime who was still in his armor.

Juan look at blue beetle and nodded his head.

"Thanks. " juan said looking at him.

"All in a day good work. " jaime smiled and put his hand on bart should. "Next time kid be careful, okay. " jaime smiled at his boyfriend who rolled his eyes and nodded.

"Okay blue beetle. " bart nodded his head and smiled.

Jaime nodded his head and flew away leaving bart and juan. Thinking about galaxy and why was he there in the first place.
