HQ C.25: Crows Vs Cats

Summary: "Aoi-chan, what are you a stalker?"

The gym was full of noise, as Angel stepped onto the court everyone seemed to fall silent. The boys quickly got into position and as the set started the gym instantly became loud with chants and gossip.

The first few points went to Karasuno, "Angel sticks her tongue out when she's about to toss a quick." Angel let out a long groan, before pointing at the blue haired player on the other side of the court.

"Aoi-chan, what are you a stalker?" from the other side to the court Aoi just tilted her head back and laughed before getting back into position to receive.

The next quick was blocked by Kuroo who watched the blonde bite her lip as she lined up with the ball, and then perform a quick of almost the same speed as the freak quick with Asahi. However as the ball returned she had already jumped up and slammed it into the floor.

As Angel rotated into blocking with Tsukishima and Asahi, she smirked at Kuroo before watching him Kenma send a toss to him, time seemed to slow as she jumped and made her form just so that as Kuroo spiked it towards the side of her hand, Angel's arms had propelled the ball back into his face.

Kuroo landed on the floor with a thud, a hand clutching his nose as he sent a glare to the blonde. Angel however had forgotten just why that block had been banned by their coach last tournament and upon a time out being called ducked under the net and placed a hand under Kuroo's chin as he lifted it slightly.

"You are quite the drama queen, your nose is not bleeding or broken. You have no idea how much worse that could have gone do you?"

Kuroo just glared at her and then she muttered a sorry and he smirked, placing one hand around her shoulder and pulling her in for a hug realising just how worried she was.

"No public displays of affection in a match, Tetsu-chan and Angel-chan." Oikawa was leaning over the balcony, cupping his hands to project his voice and instantly Angel had slid away from Kuroo and the whistle was soon blown signalling the end of the time out.

The game continued with Karasuno leading by a point, as Angel set the ball to Hinata who performed a block out before jumping up and down, beaming his one thousand watt smile.

Then Angel was serving, throwing her ball in the air and performing an amazing jump serve until it hit the net, however the sheer power behind it made the serve a net in and Angel dropped to her knees cheering.

"What the hell was that?" Kuroo called.

"There are other types of power, then just sheer brute force or being clever," Angel pointed a finger at the captain, "I have perfected the technique of combining both mental and physical power." Kuroo just glared at her and then laughed at her due to her stupid position.

Soon, the game was continuing past the 25 point mark, where if either team scored two consecutive points they would win and neither the crows nor the cats were giving in. Karasuno scored a point from Tsukishima pulling a cleverly timed feint and this time Karasuno were not giving Nekoma another chance to win the trip to the onsen.

The bal was served by Yamaguchi and returned cleanly in a spike from Yamamoto, to be received by Nishinoya who returned it to Angel expecting her to set it to someone but the boys watched in awe when instead she ran for it to spike, and most spectators had to blink hard as when she launched into the air it was if two wings were attached to er back because the blond was flying and then spiking it into the corner of the court. 

The ball bounced off the floor and onto the wall,  and suddenly realising what had just happened the court burst into applause because Karasuno had won, against all odds.

As the headmistress awarded Daichi with the tickets to the onsen and started her speech on how proud she was of not only the boys but the girls who had taken the responsibility of coaching very seriously.

Angel had taken this time to slide over to where Bokuto and Oikawa were sitting and hiding between the two tall third years, hoping to avoid the headmistresses eyeline.

However the headmistress, pointed a finger at Angel, "My precious goddaughter is going to accompany Karasuno to the onsen and on Wednesday during the week, two members from the two teams will also go to the onsen. Boys, your coaches will be choosing the teams."

The teams nodded and soon filed out of the gym leaving just Karasuno and a few other members who were hanging back to practice, Karasuno instantly burst into cheering and they gathered into a group hug, Angel standing slightly at the edge of the group.

"Come on Angel-san, you played a major role in our win." Suga made room for her to join the hug but she waved her arms frantically stuttering out, "Did you hear that? Someone was calling my name."

Then the blonde ran out of the gym just to be cornered by Haru who grabbed her arm, unaware of the trio spying on them from around the corner, "What was that?"

Angel's eyes widened slightly before her features seemed to turn to stone, "Nothing, I'm going to the-" Her eyes seemed to go dead as her knees buckled from underneath her.

"Angel, this is not funny? Sammy? Sam? Sam!"
