The Dark and the Desperate

•New Year, New Me•

I had just arrived in Ponta Vedra beach Florida. I was so excited. "Finally away from my crazy family." My mom can't stay away from drugs, my dad cheats on her all the time, and my two sisters are both pregnant, BY THE SAME GUY! But thats not important.

I found a taxi and told him my school's address. When I arrived, I was in awe. The building was huge, and the campus has more grass than a golf court. And the ocean view was beautiful. "Hi there! I'm Dana!" "I'm Alexis" "You must be new here, let me show you around." said Dana. She took me to lots of rooms and centers. She showed me all the sports courts and the places to get the best view of the ocean. The school was a beauty. Lastly she took me to the library where there were people all over. "Wow this place is really nice" I said.

As we started to walk away, I noticed someone. He was tall, blond hair blue eyes. He had a smile as beautiful as gold. "Who's that" I asked. "That's Jonathan Rivera...OMG you like him" "Do Not... Iv'e never even talked to him" "Mmmm she said in disbelief, well i'll see you later" "Ok" Now where the hell is my dorm room? I roamed the halls looking for room 105. Once I found it, I was greeted by two creepy girls who were apparently very excited to see me. "Hi i'm Bethany. Im your new roommate. "Umm Hi" I said reluctantly. "Thats Lilian. She doesn't talk much" How could I possibly be rooming with these two psychos. I had to get out of here. It took 30 minutes but I finally escaped. Bethany kept talking about the body structure of arachnids. "Dammit, I left my key." I asked one of then to slide me my key under the door, and I was gone.
