     I looked at the seemingly fearless and unbreakable demigod in front of me, looking at us fearfully and brokenly. He finished talking about his... Abuse. I stared at him shocked. I always thought my nephew was the strongest demigod I knew, even if I would never admit it. I started asking the question I wanted to ask since, he bowed before us earlier, but the most unlikely God said it before I could.

"Why do you still want to die, because what if we gave you a new purpose?" Spoke up Ares as he changed into his Roman form. We looked at him, confused as to what he was doing. My favorite nephew, looked like someone just told him my daughter, Artemis, was in love with him.(wink wink**) The mentioned person, spoke up and asked Percy a question we were all shocked about when she first said it.

"Percy, will you join the hunt?" She asked. Percy looked as if he was unable to comprehend what she was saying. She looked at his seriously and was that...? No it can't be. She's sworn in it. Percy nodded unsurely.

"Are you sure... Artemis" he said almost fearfully. She smiled, shocking (almost) all of us. Nobody male, not even the Olympian gods could call her Artemis, because it was 'disrespectful'. Not even Apollo.

"I'm sure, but be careful, my hunter love new... How do the mortals say it, meat..." He paled.

"WHY WOULD YOU OFFER, ARTEMIS!!! WHY NOT ME!! HE WILL JUST FLIRT. WITH YOUR HUNTERS!!" Apollo yelled, angry, for the first time, at his older sister. Artemis stared at him coldly.

"Why are you... Umm... Describing yourself, Apollo?" She said, looking he genuinely confused. The council laughed, while Hestia went and hugged him. Is face went from shocked, embarrassed, happy, carefree, To carefree and hopeful. I was shocked, did Apollo like my sister. My son.

"Oh my gods..." Hera said, from beside me, almost laughingly. We finally looked at Percy, who had a look of slightly calmed down rage. He kneeled and said in front of Artemis.

"I Percy Jackson, swear on The creator of the universe, Chaos, that I will protect lady Artemis and her hunters with my life and soul."gasps are heard throughout the council. I choked while the there gods nearly fell out of there thrones as they heard. Artemis and Poseidon just smiled, knowing Percy wouldn't break his promise. Then the room got dark.

"WHO DARES SWEAR APON MY NAME!" Said a booming, powerful voice.
