Riker looked at me confused as the sheer panic filled my face. I grabbed his hand and started running. I don't know why I grabbed him, something about his presence made me feel safe. He hadn't questioned my running yet he just followed me not letting go of my hand. Eventually I stopped "I'm sorry about that" I spoke feeling as though I was panting like a dog, "what happened? Why were we running?" He questioned me "I saw my mum and her boyfriend, I didn't want them to see me, and if they had already seen me with you I didn't want them to take it out on you" I dropped my eyes to the floor only just noticing I still had a firm grip of his hand, I quickly let go feeling stupid for grabbing it in the first place. "Look you don't want to be talking to a girl like me. I'm just going to get you into trouble, your a nice guy and well you really don't want caught up in this" I continued still looking at the ground. "Let's just go back to the hotel? I'll get us something to eat?" He spoke ignoring what I had said, I just nodded and followed him keeping an eye on everyone around to make sure they weren't still around.

We got back and everyone was standing in the lobby waiting on Riker, I feel bad that I made them wait for him. "Do you mind if I put my guitar back in my bag?" I asked looking at Rydel who nodded with a smile and started walking up to her room. We got there and I put my guitar away, "I'm just going to brush my teeth, tell Riker I'll see him in a bit?" I spoke sheepishly, "I can wait on you in you like?" She asked "no its okay" I smiled and went to the bathroom. After I heard the hotel room door close I grabbed my bag and listened quietly for the sound of the elevator doors closing. I finally heard them and walked out the door and headed for the stairs with my bag in hand. I felt bad leaving without saying anything but I had to. They were all so nice and didn't deserve my past catching up with me while they were with me. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs peeking out to see if they were there. Just as I stuck my head out the door they were walking into the hotels restaurant. I sighed and leaned against the wall before picking up my bag and leaving.

I wandered for a bit no knowing where to go, before I knew it I was in Sauchiehall Street. The street is filled with people shopping it always is. I feel my stomach rumble but I didn't have money for food. I put my bag down and started rummaging about until I found a hat and pulled out my guitar. I refuse to beg no matter how hungry I get but busking is different, atleast that way if anyone gives me money I've earned it by giving them a little entertainment. I sit my bag down near a wall, place my hat on the floor and start strumming.

Just as I start singing the rain starts to fall. Just my luck. What happens when the rain comes? The people go. But that's not going to stop me from trying. A little rain never hurt anyone. An hour after starting I was soaking and all I have is about £2 and a soggy hat. But I need to take what I can get. I should be able to get a sandwich or something with that. I put my guitar back in my bag and start walking again. I found a shop to buy my sandwich and ate every last bit, still hungry when I had finished but it was better than nothing. I continued walking down the same street. There must be a gig on tonight the que outside the o2 abc is pretty big. I can't help think of Riker, I feel terrible that I just left without saying goodbye, but he's better off not knowing me. I must of been right at the door of the tour bus for the people playing at the o2 next think I know the door hits my back and I'm on the floor.
