As Mysteries Begin To Unravel (Paused)

Chapter 10

When I woke up on the couch this morning, everything from last night came rushing through my head in a wild tornado. The party, the bedroom, the interruption, the walk, and the kiss.

My cheeks flushed as the memory of Bryan and I kissing flashed through my head. I replayed everything that happened last night in my head again, and realized something that hit me so hard that I almost fell off the couch.

The figure. It was Tony.

I couldn't deny that fact any longer. It had to be Tony. Who else would it be? My vision began to blur as I thought of Tony kidnapping me and taking me away from my new and happy life.

I needed a plan. I laid on the couch and wrapped the blanket around my body even tighter than it already was. Thoughts raced through my head as fast as cars at a million dollar prized race.

By the time Bryan came into the living room, a plan had formed and I grinned as Bryan moved my bangs away from my face. "Good morning beautiful." He says, grinning with a set of perfect teeth.

He leans in and I sit straight up as he shuts his eyes. "I know what to do!" I yelp as Bryan awkwardly sits beside me. "What are you talking about?" He asks me.

"Tony is coming. I know it. He's going to kidnap me. Or murder me. Hopefully he won't kill me," I squabbled, chewing on my bottom lip as I scratched my neck furiously. "Hey hey, hey..." Bryan says gently. "Don't worry about it too much. Do you have a plan?" He asks me cautiously.

"Y-yes. Yes I do." I stuttered, forcing myself to stop scratching my neck and chewing my lip. A bleeding lip and neck is definitely not what I need right now.

I quickly explained to Bryan what I was planning to do and we went to work immediately.

We went to the police station immediately and told the police our plan. They weren't very convinced at first, but after looking into his case and finding out how many people he had murdered, they agreed with our plan.

After a few hours everything was ready. "Okay so I downloaded the app. What do I do now?" Bryan asks me, tilting his head like a cute, confused puppy.

"When The red button starts to flash, click on this green button to notify the police and then you and the police can come and arrest Tony. Then we can continue living together after that." I explained, pointing to the green button and the little red dot on the map.

You see, I had thought of a brilliant plan. We put a tracking device into my neck, wedged in deep enough so it wouldn't fall out, but not deep enough to hurt me too much. Hopefully, Tony would kidnap me, not murder me, and then the red dot on the map, representing me, would start to flash if I was at least a mile away from the town. Bryan would press the big, green button and it would send an alarm out to the police. They would send out a search party and track down the beeping dot all the way to wherever Tony would take me, and then they could arrest him, give him a death penalty, and then Bryan and I could live happy forever and ever and get married and have kids and- oh! Sorry. Anyways, the plan was foolproof, Tony would never know what would hit him.

I grinned as I thought of Bryan changing our babies diapers. "Julia? Are you okay?" Bryan asks me, snapping me out of my daydream. "Huh? What? Yeah, yeah I'm fine, sorry." I said. Blush creeping up my cheeks. Bryan had caught me daydreaming of him! Well, at least he doesn't know I was daydreaming about him.

"Okay I understand it all now," he yawns, "let's get some sleep." I nodded and stumbled over to the couch. I slipped under the warm, welcoming blanket and cuddled the pillow.

I was confident my plan would work.

Okay you guys! First of all, I'm very sorry for making you all wait! I updated like 3 chapters in less than a week, so I took a little break. I'm sorry for the short chapter! It's the middle of the night and I was rushing to finish this chapter, so I apologize for all the typos. I wanna sleep now, so goodnight you guys!
