I waited eagerly for Master to come back home. I didn't know what to do down here. Angelica seemed to be creepier than usual, she was constantly talking about death. I laughed quite a lot. I wasn't sure why, but it always helped me feel better when Angelica didn't.
Master made me so happy. If it wasn't for him, I'd be dead! When he saw me drinking from a puddle that I had saw a couple of months ago, he brang me a cup of water and a shiny, red apple.
As I drank the cup of water and ate the apple, he had pet my head. Of course, I wasn't used to Master then and tried to stay away from him, but now, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me!
I look around. Where is Angelica? She hasn't been around in quite a while...
I heard something slamming open in the distance. Is Master home?! "Master! Master! Where are you?" I screeched. This wasn't normal. My breathing began to quicken as I heard several banging noises. I could barely make out a few voices. "She's...yours...mine!" It was Master's voice. "MASTER!" I plant my fingernails into the wall, trying to dig away the stone so I could save him. "Master!" My nails are chipped and bleeding but I don't care. I need to get to him!
"Master I'm coming! Please-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before the wall exploded. The last thing I heard was 'is she alright?' before I blacked out.

"Julia, are you okay? Please wake up Julia, please wake up." I open my eyes and see a man crying on my shoulder, wetting the thin gown I was wearing. I didn't say anything. If Master had taught me anything, it was to be seen and not heard. I watched him cry for a few minutes until he finally looks up into my face. There was a sharp twang in my heart as his eyes widened in realization that I had woken up. I recognized those eyes. Caramel eyes, where had I seen those before? The only eyes I have seen in forever are Angelica's blue ones and Tony's brown ones. "Julia?! Oh my god you're awake! Doctor! She's awake! She's awake!" He shouts at a door. I glance around the room and notice several, bright, deliciously-smelling objects on a little wood table. There were strange wires attached to my body and I immediately wanted to remove them. A man and a woman rushed in, wearing the same white coats. "Nurse, call the investigator. She is well enough to be able to speak clearly now." The woman nodded and scurried out of the room.
The doctor checked a screen of some sort and seemed to relax. "She is perfectly fine now. The broken ribs and legs have healed now. But sadly, she is still paralyzed. We will make sure she gets paralysis treatment so she can be able to walk again. I might need to use the x-ray again though, because our nurses saw that her leg had been broken before and wasn't treated properly and breaking it again could cause her body more damage." The man that had been crying stands and nods.
"Can I stay during the investigation?" He asks, and I could see the hope in his eyes. The doctor shakes his head. "I'm sorry sir, but no one is allowed in the room during the investigation other than the patient and the investigator." The man looked disappointed, but nodded anyways.
The doors open again and a man in a brown coat and huge shoes strolls in. He has a very serious look on his face as he sits on the chair that the crying man had been sitting on.
"Good morning Ms. Julia. I would like to ask you some questions. Is that okay with you?" I attempted to speak but my mouth was so dry I could only make a few strange gargling noises. The investigator jumps up and grabs a paper cup. He turns the sink on and fills the entire cup and hands it to me. I drink every drop greedily, almost choking on the warm water. He sits down again. I clear my throat. "Where's Master?" He arches his eyebrow and he seemed like he was going to question me when his eyes widened in realization. He quickly recovered and tightened his grip on his pencil. "What do you know about Tony?" I merely blinked at him. Who was Tony? Wait, was that Master's original name? I quickly shook my head. "No. No. No no no nononononono-" I couldn't stop and the investigator quickly called for the doctors. I shook my head so rapidly I couldn't see anything and I grew dizzy. I was sweating badly and all of a sudden I threw up. I blacked out as I heard several footsteps.

"Ungh.... My head..." I murmured. "Master? Are you okay?" I asked no one. Realizing I wasn't in my home I began to cry. I want Master! Why wasn't he here? The investigator was standing over me and the man who had been crying earlier was holding my hand. I quickly dropped his hand. No one holds my hand but Master. He looked hurt but I ignored him. My heart belonged to Master, and Master only.
There were quiet whispers exchanged between the men. The doctor and the man left and I was left alone with the investigator again. He sat in the same chair as before and sighed. "Ms. Julia-" "What happened?" He gave me an annoyed look but answered me anyway. "You ended up having a panic attack. Now, let us continue. Okay?" I nodded, and listened patiently. He sighed again. "Now, where did you meet.. 'Master'?" He asked. I knew he wasn't using Master's real name in fear that I would have another panic attack. I was grateful for that.
"I.. I don't know." He arched his eyebrow. "Nothing? You don't remember meeting him?" He questioned me. "I.. No. I don't remember meeting him." I said, thinking carefully. I didn't even remember a time that Master hadn't been with me. He wrote something down on his notepad. "Did he ever hurt you?" I pretended to think about it but I knew the answer. Yes. Of course. But, what will happen to Master if I say yes? "Before I answer that question, can I ask a question." It was more of a command than a question. He looked as if he wanted to say no but he nodded his approval anyway.
"If Master hurt me, will something happen to him?" I asked. "If he hurt you in any form, he will be executed immediately. If not, he will still be executed, but he will have quite a few years to live." I nodded. "No, he has never hurt me. He has always been kind to me." The investigator gave me a strange look. He opened his mouth to say something, but quickly shut it and scribbled something down onto his notepad.
"We have found a body in his house. Do you recognize this woman?" He asked, holding up a small photo of someone I recognized very well. It was Angelica. But Angelica didn't die right? Master simply let her sleep for a while. She was fine when she talked to me. Right? "No, I don't." I lied, knowing that if I had said yes, they would've killed Master. He didn't seem to be doubtful about what I said because he didn't give me any looks. "I know your in some pain Ms. Julia, so I will leave you to rest. I will be back later though." I nodded with a frown on my face. I hated that name. Julia. I liked 'little slave' much better.
As soon as the investigator left a man walked in. It was the man with caramel eyes. "Julia are-" "STOP CALLING ME THAT!" I screamed. I coughed loudly and regretted wasting my voice like that. The man looked like he was going to cry but he didn't. He simply came closer to me. I inched away, feeling uncomfortable with him so close to me. I shivered as his warm breath hit my ear. "You might not remember me, but I remember you Julia. It's me. Bryan." He leaned back but I grabbed his shirt and pulled him onto my bed. I couldn't move my legs, so I ended up crying into his shirt in a strange position. Bryan. That name had activated something inside of me. I remembered something. Going on walks. Going to that party. Watching the stars. Going to the mall. Falling in love. With this man. With Bryan.
He stroked my hair as I soaked his blue shirt. They were tears of sadness and tears of happiness. Sadness because I had forgotten him. Happiness for being with him. Several minutes passed by until I finally ran out of tears. I sat up straight and stared into Bryan's eyes. "I love you." He whispered. "I...I-" I was interrupted when the door slammed open and a doctor stormed in. He composed himself when he saw me. "It's time for your therapy."
