I was getting a little nervous, I wasn't sure where he was taking me to, like I just met him. But then again this is an orphanage, what bad could happen here, nothing of course. It didn't go as he had planned.
" hey, Igneous , where are we exactly are we going? "
"what you don't trust me? Nahh dont worry about it after all you just met me. Look just to make you feel safe, were gonna go to the stadium, were we fight so yeah,its far away because we don't want the orphanage to get destroyed or anything if something bad happens."
"oh okay, why are we gonna go to the fighting stadium, are we gonna watch?"
"well , newbie we're not gonna watch we are going to be on that stage and fight each other so I hope your ready. I'm also doing this go help you find out what powers you have."
" oh okay I guess I have no other choice , huh, well okay."
After a long walk, we had finally gotten there, it was huge from the outside. And once we got inside it was even bigger. It looked really cool, I couldn't believe my eyes.
" Hey John, how's it been?"

"Hey Igneous I've been doing great, are you here to fight again?"
" Well, you surely do know me well, yeah im here to fight."
"Well who's the unlucky one today? "
"well now John don't be so rude, like yeah everyone has beat me, hahaha, the " lucky one" is this young beautiful lady." Igneous said in a sarcatic tone.
"Why do you say it that way, do you mean your the best in this orphanage ??!?"
" Well I wouldn't want to brag but I'm pretty good, or at least for my age and the amount of time I've been here." ╮(─▽─)╭
" Oh well, I don't know how to feel about fighting you now, but Im still doing it, no matter what. Because maybe I'll be the one to beat you."
" Well don't worry I'll go easier on you, and don't make me laugh with those cocky comments of yours, newbie."
" Fine then, you'll see Mr. Onsogreatfighter."
"You don't even know your power."
" Yeah..whatever."
We got on the stage and got in position. I wasn't really nervous, even though I had no idea what my power was, I'm not sure why. I was so confident for some reason.
" Hey newbie, get ready to loose. "
" hey don't confuse me with you, little brat."
I look up, and I see that John put out an announcement on the screen, and some students close by got some messages on their phones. I looked at the doors and a bunch of students came in, as if it was the big event of any biggest sport, or anything.
"Every one get ready to witness another contestant trying to beat our one and only youngest winner.........IGNEOUS!!!"
"Everyone knows that he's been undefeated since he first put a foot on this stadium. So now get ready to see him win again. His opponent today , is someone who just got to this orphanage she is......MARIAH , now place your bets and get ready for this to start!!! IN 3..2...1 FIGHT!!!!"
Igneous started first, he aimed at me and fired, but I jumped, rolled and dodged so he missed, now I knew that his power was fire. I dicided to go before he tried again, I put my palm up closed my eyes and focused, next thing you know I shoot out ice.
"Well , would you look at that, it seems were opposites, huh, well then I guess I'll have to not go easy on you."
"I guess we are, well then let me continue."
I shot and shot again, but he was fast, so he got to shoot at me, and I fell, It really hurt.
" oh come on, don't tell me your gonna give up that easy."
I coughed, I tried saying something but I couldn't. He shot at me again, it really fucking hurt like hell, but I couldn't give up, not now, not ever, I was going to avenge my mothers death no matter what, that's why I wanted to try harder, I didn't notice it until then, that that's what I wanted to do, and this was a good start. I closed my eyes and thought of my mother , laying there on the floor dying. Then I got up and opened my eyes.
" Well its about time you get up, hey Marian, why are your eyes different?, they changed from purple to blue, and you look like you want to kill me."
*********Note to reader- Mariah's eyes were brown before she used her powers. After she used them ,they slowly turned purple.***********
" SHUT UP YOU PEASANT. Don't you DARE say a word anymore, and get ready to loose really, REALLY BAD."
He shot again but he missed because I had teleported behind him. I'm not even sure how I did it, I'm also not sure who it was controling me, it felt as if it wasn't me, but someone with the intent to kill. So once I teleported behind him I pushed him down and froze his feet down. He had then melted the ice, so I froze his legs and arms to the floor, even his neck. I put layers, and layers of ice so he wouldn't escape, then I shot at his stomach, I could see it hurt really bad, then I shot at his head. He finally unfroze the ice and got up, but it was too late, he fell to the floor and started hurting, then he just closed his eyes, he stopped moving. I was going to continue but then the announcer said it was over, he called nurses. Students started to run out to the stage, they pushed me away from him, everyone got crowded, the were all asking me what I had done to him.
" Oh shut up its not like he's dead, you idiots, he's just going to be sleeping for about an hour, now go back and do what eve-"
All of a sudden I felt very weak, so I fell to the floor, I had fainted.
