Josh knew he wasn't alone feeling this way. He wasn't stupid. Of course there were other people who were sad sometimes and found it hard to talk to people. (Though he was beginning to think this was a different kind of sad, and it was more difficult to talk to people than it should really be.) Wasn't he just being the catalyst for his own pain? Shouldn't he just stop worrying about everything that wasn't worth worrying about, and get up and talk to people?
