Josh wanted to keep surprising Tyler, and he found a way to do that and change his skin. He walked into school one day with holes in his ears. Big holes with black gauges. Tyler's eyes were really big that day, and then he did something different. He sat next to Josh at lunch and they started talking again. Not quite talking like they did those months ago, but still. Talking. They promised to talk more now.
