My ex-boyfriend is coming to visit and I haven't told Kyungsoo. Will he get mad at me? Wait, why would he get mad if Sehun is just my friend. I don't have to tell him we used to date. I'll just introduce him as my friend. Yeah, that'll work.
Jongin was interrupted from his thoughts by knocking on the door. He stood up and opened it. To his surprise it was Kyungsoo.
"Oh, hey!" Jongin said nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Hey, I would have called but I'd rather just ask you in person. Areum wants us three to have lunch. I kept telling her that you're busy but she clearly doesn't care. She said she didn't like the way you guys first met because it was too quick." Kyungsoo explained.
"Well-" Jongin was then cut off by a familiar voice.
"Jongin-ah!" The person said pushing passed Kyungsoo to hug Jongin. Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow and Jongin forced a smile.
"Kyungsoo, this is Sehun." Jongin introduced. Sehun turned around to look at the man shorter than him. He stuck his hand out and Kyungsoo shook it.
"I was going to tell you that I can't go because my friend from back home is coming to visit." Jongin explained. Kyungsoo looked at Sehun who clung onto Jongin's arm.
"Can't go where?" Sehun questioned as he slightly shook his head to move his bangs away from his eyes.
"To have lunch." Kyungsoo replied. He put his hands in the front pockets of his jeans.
"Oh we should go! I'm starving." Sehun rubbed his stomach.
"Are you sure?" Jongin asked.
"Yeah, I want to get to know your little friend here." He grinned. Kyungsoo glared at the ground when he heard Sehun call him little.
"I'll meet you in front when you're ready." Kyungsoo said before walking away. Jongin ran into his room to change.
"So you still make friends so easily, huh?" Sehun asked loud enough for Jongin to hear. Sehun sat on the sofa, waiting for Jongin to get ready.
"Uh, yeah. You know how I am, always making friends and all." Jongin answered nervously while buttoning up his shirt.
"Sure. So who else is with this kid?" He asked pushing his hair back as Jongin walked into the living room.
"His girlfriend." Jongin rolled his eyes as his back was facing Sehun.
"Oh, he has a girlfriend? Interesting." Sehun's eyes followed Jongin who was rushing to get ready.
"Let's go." Jongin said quickly.
I have a feeling this isn't going to be good but it's too late now. Jongin thought as he walked towards Kyungsoo's car. When he got inside he said hi to Areum and introduced Sehun to her.
"How long have you known Jongin?" Areum asked Sehun.
"For about four years now. He's a really great friend. This is your first time meeting him, right?" Sehun asked her.
"Officially, yeah." She answered.
"Well all you need to know is that he's the most amazing guy I've ever met." Sehun said gazing over at Jongin chuckling, who was looking out the window.
"Just ignore him." Jongin said, still laughing nervously.
"I think that's a good thing. Since my boyfriend is amazing, I can see him choosing amazing friends." She intertwined her fingers with Kyungsoo's whose hand was resting on the armrest.
"It's a little hot in here." Jongin stated as he lowered his window. Kyungsoo looked at him through the rear view mirror and Jongin looked back at him but quickly looked away.
"I hate this song." Kyungsoo said removing his hand from Areum's and changing the radio station. He then put his hand on the steering wheel, so Areum wouldn't hold it again.
