Chapter 6

How could he sound so sweet and loving in all his songs and be an asshole in person.

Love me like you do is the last song on the Believe (Deluxe) Album. All I have left is Journals. The internet says that Journals came out during his bad ass phase. It's also his most recent album. I wanted to listen to it so bad but I had to stay faithful to my plan of listening to his albums from first to last.

I navigated through my phone, finding Journals, and playing it. The beat to Heartbreaker began to play. He sounds a lot different then the way he does in Believe.

There was a faint knock on my door causing me to pause my music and call for whoever it was to come in.

Anastasia floated into my room a smile on her face.

"Whatcha doing?" She flopped onto my bed

"I don't know. I was listening to Justin's old albums." I admitted

"Speaking of. Did you guys argue again? He's walking around looking like someone killed his mom." She ran her hands through her hair, examining the ends

"Yeah." I mumbled

"What happened?" She furrowed her eyebrows

"He was treating me like how Ethan used to and I just couldn't deal. I tried to ignore him so I wouldn't go off but he got mad. We started arguing, some things were said, and now I'm just not gonna talk to him for the rest of the trip." I shrugged

"Yeah, maybe you guys should stay away from each other." Asia bit her lip as she rested her head on one of my pillows

"I'm not having any fun." She pouted

"You're right. Let's make it lit." I got up from my bed and skipped out of my room

I plugged my phone up to the surround sound and ODESZA's Say My Name began playing all throughout the house.

I walked to the back of the house where the pool is and stepped out. I used a button on the outside wall to make the pool cover slide over and reveal the pool's pretty blue water.

"There's a pool here too?" Taylor asked as he appeared from inside the house

"Mmhmm." I hummed as I pulled off my shorts

I heard a loud splash, then two more. Taylor, Maia and Hailey had jumped into the pool.

I went inside the house and walked to the closet where we keep all the pool stuff,"Rudy! Come help me get the pool stuff!" I called out

He appeared in seconds,"I knew I heard splashes." He grinned as he grabbed a big box full of deflated beach balls

"Maejor!" I called but got no response

I shrugged and leaned into the closet looking for more stuff. I dragged a volleyball net out of the closet before peering back inside.

"Sorry I took so long. I was taking a shit." Maejor said from behind me.

I burst into laughter, gripping onto the doorframe of the closet for support. Maejor chuckled lightly then began laughing harder the more I laughed. He let out a snort and tears formed in my eyes as I held my stomach.
