Beauty and the Beast. Yugioh Gx style.

Enchanted prologue.

Once upon a time in a kingdom far away was two princes living peacefully with the other citizens. There were harmony and balance between them and everyone was happy. However that sadly didn't last forever. One day the King and Queen fell terrible ill to an incurable illness and in the end they sadly died. People were of course sad, but they needed a new king. Their choice stood between the oldest prince, who was selfish and unkind to people, and the youngest, who was pure hearted and kind. The people chose the oldest one because that he was older and more experienced.

So some days later the coronation ceremony was underway. However the thing got ruined and took a turn for the worse. A demon king and his lover, who of course also were a demon, appeared in the middle of it. They told everyone that they were the ones responsible for the King and Queen's death. All for the sake of the demon kingdom. They were here to make the selfish king join their cause. To make sure he did, they cursed the whole castle and its subjects, and also turned the prince into a hideous demonic like creature, which also made his personality slowly turning into a real evil demon in less than 3 days.

The younger prince looked in horror at what his beloved brother had become. He prayed to god that someone could save him. Luckily an angel named "Honest" heard him, approached him and told the little prince that he couldn't stop the curse, but he could prolong it. However it came with a sacrifice. He should share his brother's curse. The little pure hearted prince agreed. He only wanted to save his brother. Honest told him he could prolong the curse until his big brother turned 21. If he, the oldest prince had learned to love, be loved in return and share a true love's kiss before then, the curse was lifted. If not, the demons would own them both. Regardless that the young prince agreed and stayed by his brother's side.

However time passed, and the oldest prince became more and more frustrated, short tempered and demon like. He concealed himself in his room, and the outside world, leaving himself with only the two gifts the angel gave them. A magic mirror who made him see the outside world, and a magic rose that prolonged the curse, and it's petals counted down the days and time he has left. It was meant to give him hope, but instead it gave the prince only despair. After all who could ever break the curse. Who could ever love a hideous creature like him!
