I rolled over and picked up my phone to see a text from Allison.

"Get your ass out of bed Nicole"

"im going to dump cold water on you!"

"Nicole I'm coming in."

Just at that moment I heard Allison walk into my house so I pulled my blanket over my head.

"Allison it's Sunday let me sleep!" I said fully knowing that wasn't going to happen.

Allison walked into my room with her arms crossed, "come on princess it's the day before school starts and you need a new outfit cuz heaven knows I'm not going to let you go to school in these rags," she said as she started going through my clothes.

"What does it matter? Nobody notices me anyway." I said, "it's not like I'm you and surrounded by people 24/7."

At that remark Allison turned around and threw a pair of my underware at me, "well I'm going to change that this year. I'm going to teach you how to come out of your shell."

I quickly sat up out of my bed, "wait... What.... No Allison I can't-"

"Well why not?" she said with her hands on her hips.

"People just forgot about me and me being the new girl."

She let out a heavy sigh, "you can't hide in the shadows forever. Eventually you'll have to let yourself shine in front of others."

I groaned in defeat and got up to go take a shower. When I looked back at Allison, she was smirking at me with a look of ha bitch I win yet again.

Allison and I had been in Pendleton for over an hour. Whatever I thought was cute or I could see my self wearing, I would pull out to show her and she would say something like, "Darling that won't work but at least you're putting in effort," or, "are you being serious?"

We finally agreed on a pair of skinny jeans, a mint green shirt that says "I like you", that I would wear with my white Vans.

After shopping Allison and I went back to my house and chilled on my couch watching Fuller House while eating Chinese food. After watching like 3 episodes she went home. I was super nervous for the next day because I had a feeling in my gut that my life was going to change, I didn't know wether or not if it was for better or for worst.

Originally I was writing a different story but I deleted it because I wasn't doing anything with it and decided to make a new story.
