Today is the day Maven will fall.
I made Nemesis wear a prince like white and silver armour on his chest, arms and legs and a black cape with blue edges. The armour highlighted his muscles underneath them and I changed his hair from short and messy black to shoulder-length and silver ones. An iron crown sat on his head with sharp points and blue gems and I also gave him the sword of the king of this kingdom which I stole from the royal treasury. He looked stunning and you wouldn't know that 2 years ago, he was near death in a small cell with barely any clothing on.
He looked solemn. Fearless. Strong. Cold.
He looked like a King.
When he finished changing, I teleported us before the doors of the Throne Hall. 2 huge silver doors with phoenixes painted on them were guarding the Fake King. No guards were outside of it. The King thought that he was in security. With my mind, I opened them with a 'Thud' without a problem and stared at the chamber before me. The walls were made of diamondglass with red decorations depicting the Fake King in battles that never occurred and invasions that never happened. The marbled-ground was flawless and there was a red and long carpet leading to the throne and the King. Directly across from me, his fiery gaze burning into mine with rage and confusion, was the King, sitting in a diamondglass throne carved into an inferno. Nemesis's Throne.
You see, the kingdom's government is very strange. There are the nobles, royals and the people. That is still normal. But the resemblance of a normal monarchy ends here. The royals and nobles have silver blood while the people have red blood. The Silvers, as they call them, also have powers of their own. Strongarms, Swifts, Nymphs, Magnetrons, Shadows, Singers and so on. That's what made them stronger than Reds. There were like gods for the folks who were like ants for them. They were people that would be never like them, who they couldn't even approach without being blinded by their dark person. That's the world the people are living in. Because of the Fake King. Called Maven.
He wanted to make the people trust him. He wanted them to forget about the missing prince and to hide into his palm, thinking that nothing bad will happen if he was there. But they couldn't see the bloodthirsty and the darkness in him. They didn't want to think about what happened to the prince. They believed what Maven said and he said what they wanted to hear. They believed what he said and didn't want to hear about the truth. The truth that this kingdom was falling into a deep abyss and that they were far from being protected by the King.
Centuries ago, a girl tried to change this world. She was a Red but still had the power to control electricity. She failed and was executed, under the orders of Maven the 1st, her ex-fiance. She trusted him when he said that he would help her change the world. She thought he was he friend. She even tried to love him as they were going to be married. She was broken when he betrayed her by making the man she loved, Cal, his older brother and heir of the throne, to kill his own father. She was shattered when he announced their execution as treason and murder, not even blinking when the sharp metal swords created by a magnetron pierced her chest and Cal's. Even if they tried to battle. They ended up dying in each others arms. Forever together with their hatred for Maven.
