Chapter 6

Sasuke/Sakura POV

When the lion came over, I was in awe. 

Its fur is so beautiful ! I want to touch it !  

Wait, calm down Sakura, that's a freaking lion !!! 

Maybe but I love it and if it was dangerous, they wouldn't let it out, right ? 

Well, but it is still a f*cking LION !

While my heart and brain were in an internal battle with my heart currently winning, the lion came over and looked at me with .... adoration ?! 

Hesitantly, I touched its head and began to pet it. I could sleep in this fur for days !!! I thought. The feline began to purr and it was so cute ! A giant lion was purring because I was petting it !!! I couldn't stop feeling excited and pleased.

Suddenly realising that other people were also here, I lifted my head to look at Sacha and a stranger behind him. Their jaws were going to touch the ground and I wanted to laugh so badly ! But I didn't want to make a bad impression so I kept a blank face. I looked at Sacha questioningly but before he could speak, the stranger spoke for him.

" I'm the prince of Fealion, Dominik Felinis and this is my Familiar Max. " he smiled and gestured toward the lion still purring. When I looked at him more closely, I remarked that he was very handsome. He has bright short blond hair and mesmerising green eyes. He was a lot taller than I was but that didn't bother him much I think. I felt a strange pull to reach and touch his hair but I shrugged it off. This was the same feeling I felt when I first saw Night.

Suddenly, something he said entered my brain. 

" Sorry but what are Familiars ? " I asked curiously.

Sacha looked dumbfounded as well as Dominik. Then he burst out laughing clinching his stomach. I wonder what I did to make him laugh like that. Is it because I made a strange face ?

When I looked again toward Sacha, his jaw wasn't open because of me but because of the prince. Is it rare to see him laugh ? I guess it is.

" Close you mouth, a fly may went in. " I said to Sacha and just after that, he began to cough and to cough. I guess a fly REALLY went in.

The prince stopped laughing but when Sacha's struggle began, he  was laughing so hard that he was using the wall of a carriage to help him not fall over.

His laugh warmed my heart, exactly like when Night was sniffing around me. Strange. Is my heart sick?

Worried at Sacha, I walked next to him and patted his back roughly. A few chocks later, he coughed out a small thingy and was able to respire again. He face was really red. I really couldn't stop myself from smiling and Dominik saw it. He stared at me weirdly before looking away with a slight blush on his cheeks and ears. Is it a common sickness in their Kingdom to have red on their faces ? I wondered.

After the coughing fit and the laughs, the prince finally quieted down and answered my question.

" Sorry for that and about you question, Familiars are you animal spirits. Each person in here have one and people pass test to find out which Familiars they have. Each race of Familiar are connected to you soul and your personalities.  When you find it, you can combine and transform into you Familiar like a tiger or a panther for the most strong ones but with much more strength, speed and healing times. Some can just combine and have their claws, ears and tails while in a human body like Sacha here. " he explained and patted friendly Sacha's back. They seem like good friends I thought.
