The Outbreak

There she was on the table. She looked different her veins were another colour it was a black shade. From all the movies I have seen it looked like she was turning into a zombie maybe she was one. There were more tables that had people on them their veins were the same colour too. I couldn't stand to look at them it was just terrifying and disturbing. Then all of a sudden the man on the table beside my zombie like mother started coughing up blood then blood started flowing out his mouth, ears, nose and eyes. It was just to much! I ran out of the room with my father yelling from behind me. I ran down the long twisted corridors, it seemed like they went on for forever. I reached the smelly room that had the bunks. I was alone but it didn't seem like it I could feel the presence of someone. I walked to the bathroom there was a man on the floor. He looked exactly like the victims of the disease in the lab. Pales skin, bloodshot eyes, pure dark veins as dark as night and crusted blood. The zombie like creature climbed back to its feet and started walking towards me. I was just petrified I just stood there then I ran. Down the long twisted corridors I went. I looked behind me the zombie was in pursuit. I had to tell the commander I had to warn everyone in this compound or else we will all be doomed!  Up ahead I saw two soldiers walking in my direction. "Run." I screamed. They seemed confused until they saw the beast round the corner. Then they ran. I caught up to them and one of them pushed a bouton on the wall. It must have been a bouton for a siren because sirens were now screeching in my ears. A door ahead started to close from above we have to make it. I was about to slide under and to my left one of the soldiers tripped. I grabbed him by the wrists and started dragging him. With the zombie right on our tail and the door closing we might not make it. I couldn't just leave him here to be sentenced to death and turn into one of those ugly beasts. With the last bit of strength I had I pulled him through the door way, and the door closed behind us. In front of us were lines of soldiers then through the lines of men came the commander. "What happened back there?" "There was a zombie like creature it turned into one from the disease." "The scientist said that it is only by contact that you could get the disease did any of you come in contact?" "No sir." "Good." I looked to my left towards the soldier that I saved, although there was red then I noticed that it was...blood.
