"Get him to the lab now!" The commander yelled. I thought to myself if this was spread through contact and fluids there's more people that have the disease. This past week has been horrible first nukes then a deadly virus. Is this global or just here. It just didn't make sense why a country would just nuke Canada, wouldn't they nuke a country with a bigger military force to eradicate them then go in and steal their resources. Coming from the speakers someone started talking. "Evacuate now patients that were infected by the virus have escaped evacuate now!" I thought we were supposed to be safe here but nope it's the freaking zombie apocalypse. "Everybody follow me to the cryogenic chamber." The commander said. I can't believe I forgot about my dad and brother where are they? A few moments later I saw them emerge from the waves of people. "I was so worried about you." Dad said "No I was worried about you two." "Daddy what's cryogenics?" "Umm its pretty hard to see the scientists will answer all your questions when we get there." We walked and we walked then all of sudden we heard screeching and from behind us the zombies rounded the corner. The ugly stench of rotting flesh filled the air. "Run!" The commander yelled. So we did I could see the cryogenic chamber down the hallway. "Everyone open one and press freeze." The commander said. "I guess I will see you in a few years." I told my dad and brother. We hugged each other then got into one of the machines. I pressed close. I've read about cryogenics before it preserves the brain for a long tim. Through the front window I called see the zombies running past they caught the last few stragglers. When we wake up would there be anyone else left on earth or would this all be over? Well I guess I'm going to be around 217 years old when I wake up. This is it for now, I looked out the window again gun shots fired off people trying to defend themselves the ones that couldn't get in one. I looked over at my brother Ben and my dad. My finger started to lower to the bouton that said freeze. I took one last look around me. I started counting down from 20, ...17...16...15...14...13...12...11...10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1. Good bye 2016! I pressed the freeze bouton. Then my vision went...black.
