Megan's POV:

My arms and legs are sore from dancing for I decide to lay low for the day.
I take off most of my clothes except bra and underwear and hop into the water to clean off. I have sand literally almost everywhere.
I walk into the water and it's cold at first, but it feels good on my sunburn. I kneel down and start swimming out a little farther. I brush my fingers through the thick hair and I go under the water.
It is refreshing, and closest to a bath.
I mean, to think the best of it, it is an ocean.
The water is clean and blue, and big.
I wish I had some soap, but I guess this will just have to do for now.
As I float in the water, I start to think about what the future will be like if we ever leave this ocean.
Will we be famous?
Will nobody care?
Then I think about my family.
My moms name is Cassidy, she always wanted me to be a doctor, but I didn't want to. We've always had our differences, but I sure do miss her.
My dad passed away when I was eleven, we got in a car crash.
We were going to have a father daughter day at the mall.
He told me he would buy me whatever I wanted..

~flash back to that day~

"Come on Sweetie, think of one thing you'd love to have!" He says as he turns down the radio from my Hannah Montana CD.
"I don't know! I have always wanted those golden high heels at that place mom always shops at!" I giggle.
"I would love to buy you those, let's make a deal. You walk at least three steps in those an all throw in a dress, then I'll take my little girl out to dinner in her fancy new outfit." He smiles and winks at me.
"Deal! You just wait and see, I could run miles in those babies!" I joke around.
It was a warm winter, making it very wet and slushy.
"So how did your language arts test go?" He asks me.
"Well, umm.. It wasn't that bad.. I mean, it wasn't great, but I gave it my best effort!" I try to give a non guilty grin, but he raises his brow and makes me tell him the truth. "It doesn't even matter, that guy is a dick."
He shoots his eyes straight at me, "Megan!"
"Sorry, but it's true! I don't even know to know the art of language. I'll just become a doctor like mom wants by doing good in all those other classes." I cross my arms and slouch in my seat.
"Hunny. You can be whatever you want to be. But that doesn't mean you can't try at other things. Do you know what I wanted to be before I became a doctor like your mother?" He asks me.
"Umm.. I don't know.." I say quietly.
"I wanted to be a hair dresser!" He laughs, but seems serious.
"Seriously?!" I laugh.
"As serious as ever!" He smiles. "But then I tried something else and learned that I loved being a doctor. And if you don't love that, then go find something else to do!"
"Are you telling me to be a hair dresser?" I grin.
"All I'm saying is that you can do amazing things Meg. I believe in you. One day you'll be in this big predicament, not knowing what to do, but you'll meet the right people and you'll know exactly what you want."
And in that second a red truck had slammed directly into us from drunk driving.
My dad died on impact, I on the other hand was to small for the front and flew out the broken windshield.
I lay on the cement, blood all over me.
Just starring at my motionless dad.
I can't move. I hear sirens.

~back to present day~

I quickly open my eyes to the sound of a voice.
It's Cam.
"He told me I'd know what I want. And I think I found it.." I say to him.
"Who told you what?" He says confused.
"You. It's always been you. And I finally found you." I swim up to him closer and kiss him.
