Whitney's Pov:

Nash and I are sitting on the shore and I actually get to talk to him, and it's quite nice.
"So, flying to Hawaii. What were you going to do there?" He asks me.
"I was going to see my parents. They've been there for about a month now, and I was just finishing up all the things I needed to do before leaving. I called them this morning, before I left. Told them I would see them soon." I look at him then.
His crystal blue colored eyes look at me, and I know he's listening.
"Nash, what if I don't see them soon. What if we die here. What if they forget about me. That-that can't happen. I have a job, I was going to be a doctor. We were going to spend the summer in Hawaii and I was going to learn new medicines. Now I'm going to die on this God damn island!" I feel a tear roll down my face.
He wraps his cold arms around me, but it makes me feel warm.
He rest his chin on the top of my head.
"Whitney, I know we don't know each other very well, but I will be here with you. And I promise I will keep you safe. And we will get off this island. Even if I have to swim across the ocean, I would do it for you. I feel something between us that I've never felt before." He says to me.
I look up at him and he looks me directly in the eyes before giving me a short but genuine kiss.
I lean back from him and look at his eyes again.
I then rest my head on his chest and try not to fall asleep.
He brushes his hand through my hair.
"Whitney, it's okay if you fall asleep. I got this. I'll hold you. I'm right here." He says to me.
I close my eyes, and smile.
"Tell me a story!" I then say.
"I'm good at these. Okay, so there once was a boy, and we walk walking down the streets of New York, and there was so many people, so he walked into a coffee shop. We walks up to the cashier and he orders a coffee and then looks around to find a place to sit but all the seats are taken but one, at a table that a girl is sitting at. So they guy walks up and asks if he can sit there and she says yes. So he sits across from her, and when he is face to face with her, he can't take his eyes off of her. He thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. Like nothing he has even seen in his whole life. She was pretty short, decently long hair, freckles all over, greenish bluish eyes that would make your heart melt, and a beautiful smile. And at that moment, that guy felt love at first sight. He knew for a fact that he loved her right that that moment. Awhile had pasted and all they did was talk. He felt like he had knew her his whole life. And he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He wasn't sure exactly why he was feeling this way, but he knew the feelings were true. Then he finally realized that he hadn't even asked her for her name. She said Whitney. The name fit her. Whitney was beautiful. Whitney is beautiful."
I get goose bumps, he probably thinks I'm sleeping.
"And Nash knew, I mean, the guy knew that she was special, and she might even be the one. Goodnight Whitney," he says, kissing me on the top of the head.
And in that moment, I knew too, he was special as well.
