[Fleeger: I APOLOGIZE THIS TOOK SO LONG BC I WAS BUSY N SHIT BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER SO HERE]

It wasn't long before Pete found out about Andy's little setup for Patrick. He knew he had to step it up, just didn't know how. So he decided to go to the monkey- in other words, Brendon Fucking Urie.

"You sure you want me to do this?" Brendon asked, now fully aware of his and Pete's plan. Pete nodded.

"Positive. Just remember, Andy can't know." Pete said, putting his hand out for Brendon to shake. Brendon rolled his eyes, shaking it, then setting off to find Patrick. Pete was good at keeping secrets, but this time, he made one major mistake:

Not noticing Joe standing a few feet away.

"Andy! Andy, Andy!" Joe called, finally catching sight of the half-cat. Andy turned around, alarmed, and slowed Joe down.

"Hey, hey, what's up?" Andy asked frantically. Joe flicked his small tail, catching his breath before standing back up straight.

"I- I heard Pete talking to B-Brendon, and he-he's gonna try and guilt-trip
Patrick into going to the dance with him!" Joe panted out. Andy stiffened, his ears pricking forward.

"Thanks, Joe." Andy said, sitting him down and walking off to find Patrick before Brendon did.

When he finally found Patrick, it wasn't because he saw him. It was because he heard him. He was walking down to the auditorium to see if he was there to study (it was Patrick's favorite place, due to the fact that no one went there often), and that's when he heard him. Andy was right, he was in the auditorium, but not studying like he thought.

He was singing.

Not only that, but he had an electric guitar in his lap as he sat on a chair in the middle of the stage. Andy stood in the doorway and listened to his voice.

"And I have left alone, everything that I own, to make you feel like, it's not too late, it's never too late. Even if I say, it'll be alright. Still I hear you say, you want to end your life. Now and again we try, to just stay alive. Maybe we'll turn it all around, cuz it's, not too late, it's Never Too Late...."

Andy walked in a little more, watching as Patrick sang and played the silver guitar, obviously not one of the school's. He had his eyes open half the time, closed the other half. His tail flicked around behind him, his fedora hiding his ears. He was beautiful onstage, the light hitting him at just the right angle. He looked almost like he belonged up there. The slightly hardcore song eased for a moment, and Patrick strummed lightly as he sang softly.

"This world will never be, what I expected. And if I don't belong...." Patrick picked up the song again, more intense as the chorus played again, singing his heart out. He obviously loved being up there, anyone could see that. But the poor pup was way too shy to perform in front of anyone else.

Andy stared in awe as he finished the song, sighing and pushing his glasses up on his face. He slung his guitar over his back, walking over and setting the small thing in its case. As he clipped it shut, Andy spoke softly.

"You have a beautiful voice," he said, stepping closer. Patrick yelped, jumping and falling backwards. He stared down at Andy, clearly shocked and embarrassed, evidenced by the dark blush creeping on to his face.

"H-how long ha-have you b-b-been-....?" Patrick said shyly. Andy smiled at him, helping him up and handing him his guitar.

"Not long, I promise. But long enough to know that your voice is gorgeous, and you love being on this stage." Andy said as Patrick took his guitar back and slung it over his shoulder. His tail flicked nervously behind him, and his eyes widened as Andy took his hand gently. "You're really good. Trust me. Also, you have an answer about that dance, Stump?" Andy said, purring and pulling Patrick closer. Patrick stared up at him, flustered and red and unsure of how to answer. "It's fine if you don't, but it's better if you do." Andy said softly.

Patrick nodded hesitantly, deciding that going with his best friend was better than not going at all. After all, everyone went to the spring dance. "Okay, I-I'll go with you...." Patrick said, almost too quiet for Andy to hear. Almost.

"Great. I'll be over at your house Friday before the dance starts, and I'll help you get ready. Is that okay?" Andy asked, his tail twitching behind him and a ridiculous smile plastered on his face that he couldn't get rid of. Patrick nodded, still red as he picked up his bookbag and walked out of the auditorium. Andy meowed out loud once he was gone, giggling a little childishly out of happiness.

"Take that, Wentz!"
