"I, Sylvester Samuel Kingsley, Alpha of Moon Shadow pack reject you, Delphi Lillian Westworld, as my mate and the packs Luna." He spoke the words no werewolf dared to think of. Coward.

"Oh my god, please, please, don't do this- it hurts. I'm begging you. I'll be the best mate ever. Please, I'll do anything you want just don't reject me," I said, sobbing over dramatically while his face twisted in recognisable confusion.

"You thought I'll be like those pathetic she-wolves you empty yourself in?" I spat at him, wiping the fake tears from the corner of my eyes. "That's cute." I continued.

"I'm your Alpha." He said as he recovered from his initial shock. His tone was enough to make my wolf bend but not me.

"Well, hello, Mr Alpha. But you see I don't care about your position at the moment." I hissed, venomously. "What are you all looking at? Never seen a coward reject his mate? " I scowled at the crowd which had formed seeing the internecine feud.

"Did you just call me a coward? " Mr Alpha spoke, outraged at the audacity of a mere pack member back mouthing him.

"Oh, bite me," I muttered sarcastically and walked away.
"You have single handedly destroyed my first day, congratulations." I groaned one last time, looking at his rage filled face.

I started taking my food when a hand grabbed my shoulder leaving a tingling feeling, I knew it was my so-called mate.

He dragged me to the exit and continued walking till we reached a quiet corner.

"I know you want me and all but I really don't do people like you." I said monotonously as he turned to face me.
"Want you? Did you not hear what I did few minutes ago? I rejected you!" I just stared blankly at him as he spoke. His heartless reply did little to phase my reactions.

"Really? You call that a rejection? " I laughed humourlessly. "Honey, rejection is when you accept something first. You didn't even try sparing me a glance. Honestly, that's okay. I'll find someone better, more compatible and especially with more brains and dignity." After my rant I turned to walk away seeing the end of the conversation. But as usual he stopped me.

"Who do you think you're to talk to me like that?" He growled as I rolled my eyes.

"Someone who has guts to stand up to unreasonable bullying." I replied jerking my hand out of his.

"Unreasonable bullying?" He exasperated running his hand through his black hair turning them in different directions "I rejected you because I don't want a mate now. Probably never will." I was stunned at his crude words but I knew not to show emotions.

"Oh my, you hurt my feelings. What would I do now? My mate doesn't want me. Oh my goodness, I have no life now." I deadpanned.

"What is wrong with you? Can you not feel?" He questioned. I felt my heart clench at his words, I used to feel but I promised myself I wouldn't let anything hurt me, not after what happened to him.

"Ironic coming from you, isn't it?" I chuckled. "I do feel but not for people like you. You want me to accept your rejection and let it go easy? Honey, it doesn't work that way. If you want to induce pain, give me a fair chance to return the favour." I smiled sweetly at him and turned flipping my hair over my shoulder.

My next class wasn't of any comfort as people gave me perplexed looks, some looked at me with pity while some looked proud of what I had done. Every wolf understood the weight of rejection and one by an Alpha is sort of twice as worse. They are sworn by blood to protect you forever as a leader.

"That was some badass shit." I was walking past the seat when a redhead spoke.

"Er," I hesitated taking in her features. She had green eyes which were lined with dark liner giving an edge to her badass look. Her clothes consisted of a pair of black skinny jeans, white tank top showing of her arm which was inked magnificently. The outfit was completed with black combat boots.
