She sat out on the doorstep
Hoping he'd come back.
A picture full of memories
Is all that's left in tact.
She didn't get to see him,
Or even say goodbye.
That picture sleeps beside her
Every single night.
She tries to call his number,
But it's always disconnected.
"Something must of went so wrong
But at least I herd the message. "
"Baby know I love you,
And I'll always be right here.
Ill lead you through the roughest things,
I will breath your air."
One day he didn't come back home.
That night she slept alone.
Listening to the same message
He recorded on his phone.
She cries her self to sleep
Every single night.
Wondering what she'd have to do
Just to end her life.
"Should I cut myself?
Or put a bullet in this gun?
Should I write a note?
To the ones I love?"
But she couldn't do it.
That picture just meant more.
She looks at it every night.
The message plays once more..
