one dim foggy morning
she woke up to a ring
her heart had hit the floor so fast
She ran in such haste
she answers with out mourning
a rugged voice is on the line
it wasn't what she hoped for
it was her father wanting time
"there's something i must say
and the sooner will be better
were moving you away
Just forget about the letter
she dropped down to here knees
and her eyes began to bawl
now there is no chance
for her long lost love to call
a hundred miles away
She still just sits and wait
little did she know
her parents set her up a date
The guy was really nice
She took the chance an let him in
She hoped that he's the one
To help her wounds to slowly mend
Six months went and past
With that picture in the drawer
Her smile starts the crack
Her heart just grew a core
Then one day he found it
He had that picture stripped and torn
He gives it to her harshly
"were done, that's it, no more!"
She can't help but to tear
Because the picture she just saw
Was it really that?
Or once again she lost it all?
