Suddenly she remembers

The promise that he made

The few words that he said

Make her tear drops slowly fade

"Girl I've always loved you

And I always will

But there still looking for me

I shall escape deep in these hills"

Without putting on her shoes

She walked right through the dust

She ran to the great big hill

And ran until t'was dusk

Without some further thought

The girl climbed up the hill

in search for all them memories

that she could make so real

in hopes to find a footprint

but her mind says probably not

she stumbled across this letter

i wonder what she thought?
