Hannah's POV
Good thing that I am so preoccupied these past few days. Why? It's because I get to avoid Reid without exerting any effort. I am always at Vincent's office and place while arranging the papers for the acquisition of the location my restaurant will be built.
Vincent doesn't seem to mind my presence at all. In fact, we always dine out together between breaks. Now I wonder where the hell he hangs out when I wasn't around.
"Vinny, where do you usually hang out?" I asked him while slicing the white cheese pizza on my plate.
"Me? In my office." He said nonchalantly.
"Don't you date?" I asked further, prying for information.
"You know me too well, Honey. I don't date. I fu--" I cut him off.
"Lalalalala this pizza tastes divine!" I stated ignoring his sickly philosophy in life.
I don't get it. Why do men prefer to just fuck and not date women? Have they lost their virtues? I mean, what's with this entire hook up culture nowadays? It cheapens affection. It violates virtues and morals.
"You should have not asked, Honey. You know me since day one. You know my ways." He grinned at me.
"Oh yes yes. Please don't remind me how awful you are, Vinny." We both chuckled at that.
"If I am awful then what am I doing here with you? And all the past weeks, Honey? Is that how you define awful?" He has this mischievous smile on his face that made him more admirable.
Vincent is totally a head-turner, a gorgeous man who ascended from hell. Yes, hell. Hell because he is ruthless in business and bedroom. He's a total womanizer just like his other brothers.
"Oh come on, Vinny. You are awfully sweet you know that." I said sweetly at him.
"So how's Ty?" He asked.
"Mom misses me a lot. But she doesn't want me to come back yet. It's ironic you know." I complained.
"Honey, we both know that you need to stay here even if it's out of your will. Do it for your mom. And besides, you deserve all the wealth of your dad. You are the legitimate daughter and not that bastard." Vincent's jaw tightened.
I touched his fist to calm him down. And he grinned immediately at me.
"Take care of yourself, Honey. You know that you are the second most important woman in my life, next to my mom of course." His soft voice soothed me.
"Pssshh. Should I be glad that I am important to you, Vinny?"
"Of course, it's a great privilege." He said proudly.
"Conceited Vinny." I giggled and he laughed.
"Maybe I'll just cherish the days that I'm still the second most important woman in your life, right?"
"Why?" His eyebrows knitted in confusion.
"Duhh. I know that someday a woman will replace me there. A woman will snatch my throne in your life. And I don't mind, Vinny. You deserve to be happy as well." I smiled at him and he just frowned at me.
"No one will replace you there, Honey. And no one will replace me as your most important man in your life as well. Understand?" He sid with conviction.
Rolling my eyes at him, he snatched my left hand and forces me to take an oath that no man shall replace his throne in my life. I giggled louder at his childish behaviour. Who would have thought that Vincent Elizalde, a billionaire bachelor could be this childish?
