For he was different, very different. No, not the strange different.... He was contagiously happy. This is to someone so different, like water. She was fire, spark and he was water. Calm and composed. He knew how to sooth her burns, to cure the pain. She knew how to make him spark with energy, to help him feel a little more alive. And this was not a love story. For the first time ever, opposites do not attract. They dont love. They live. Together, they understand.
For the world thinks of them weirdly, like crazy people but they knew it. They knew how to relish the feeling of being this way. This was for the way he could treasure the ashes, the way she could save each drop. To the way they could help them survive.
For they knew what broken beauty was. They knew how to stay away. For he helped her trust. Trust someone so much more than herself, to someone who could be there. Someone who did stay even after leaving others as he said he did.
He was perfect, infact more precious than perfect can ever be. He was like unstoppable flood yet controled lake. He was like the tornado with a storm within but the pond of calmness from outside. This is to whom who made her realise how important even ashes were.
This is to the person who knew she deserved so much more than those bandaids. This is to the person and what they had. That she will never forget but will make him forget.
Over time, things change.

"I know this was supposed to be about our friendship and not you but I cannot help it because you are the bestestestestestestestestestest person ever. You are my idol. You are everything I wanted to be in this lifetime. This is to whom i really want to never lose but i need to.
This is to make u realise i will be there forever.
-signing off." She once wrote.

Because she was oblivious to the fact he will never leave. And he, he was oblivious to the fact she killed herself each day. He was oblivious that this was her last message, the last she will ever send. The last person she will talk to before going. She was oblivious to the fact that he was here. Still here.

And then, she ended. Sparks died. Water turned into flood. The droplets she once treasured flowed freely, scattered into puddles. The one she made calm and composed turned insane.

Because she was oblivious to what will happen
Because he was oblivious she was still watching
And together they were obliviously tangled.
