Even today when she stood there on the balcony, five years after that day, she could feel him there. His presence, his touch, his voice and his effect. She could breathe his scent again like it was oxygen to her lungs. Even today after all those years she could not let it go, her brain remembered that fragrance like it was a part of her. And to be honest, it was.

When the light breeze started blowing on her face, she could feel his soft tender fingers touching her again, playing with her, rubbing soothing circles on her back. And then, she blushed like it was all happening just yesterday. She looked down at her morning cup of coffee and immediately regretted it. She regretted putting that extra milk today because now the colour of her coffee reflected the colour of his light brown creamy eyes. It was those eyes that made her feel so lost, like a puppy. Whenever she looked at him, she used to forget everything. Those smoky eyes held her with an unknown force, captivating all her senses. Those eyes were always raging with storm, a continuous conflict but in the end, they were a symbol of liveliness within him. It was so ironical that such a storm in those eyes made her feel calm and peaceful, like they were an assurance that everything will be fine.

After a long drawn nostalgic journey, reality dawned upon her. Today, five years ago, she lost him. She lost him to fate. And it was not okay. When she reached the place where her world crashed, she saw him peacefully lying there. His eyes wide open but somehow that day they had lost their calming effect. After what felt like eternity, she picked up her broken pieces. She got up and started looking for his phone. Moments before that disaster they were talking to each other like any other day.

And then, she got it. She could see a few drops of blood splashed on the screen and a typed message. A message for her and it broke her again. It said-

Please fall in love again.

She was confused, tangled with her thoughts. Did he know something will happen? Did he do it on purpose? She could never get those answers. She was oblivious to such pain, such hurt. She never felt this broken.

Finally, she came out of her trance when two warm hands wrapped themselves around her. She turned back to see a pair of dark brown eyes looking at her with love filled in them. He was here and she knew it. He was not what she lost, but he was what she found.

She could never forget those light brown eyes and how he captivated her but she did listen to him. She did love again. Yet, she could never forget him. She could never get those answers to those questions that wrecked her mind day and night. Because, in the end,

She was obliviously tangled
