The movie was really funny, since Amethyst did nothing else but laugh, even if we already left the cinema. The movie ended around 3 pm.

"It's still early, wanna go somewhere else?" I asked her.

"Yeah! Let's go to the bookstore. I wanna refill my bookcase at home." Amethyst said then dragged me towards the bookstore.

"Darren, choose one." Amethyst said and showed me two books. Para sa Hopeless Romantic and Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo?.

"Neither, you won't get any knowledge from those." I blankly said.

"C'mon! Choose one." Amethyst insisted.

"How about this one?" I held up a book called How to not be stupid.

"Darren." She coldly said and glared at me.

"Sheesh! Fine." I raised my hands in defeat. I pointed the Para sa Hopeless Romantic Book.

"Good!" Amethyst smiled and went to the counter to pay for her book.

I suddenly got off track when I saw two books being placed inside the paperbag. Huh? 

"What's other book you got there?" I asked her.

"It's for you!" Amethyst said handing me the Bakit hindi ka crush ng crush mo book.

"No way." I said and hid my hands behind my back.

"Come on, D! I bought it just for you." Amethyst whined.

"I don't need it. I'll learn nothing from it."I replied.

"You will! Like, why your crush won't like you back." Amethyst reasoned.

"First of all, I don't have a crush. Second, if I did, they would like me back. I'm Darren Lyndon Gonzalez Espanto, hari ng kapogian." I said and smirked.

"Wow, D! Ang hangin, grabe." She replied,

"Actually no, it's pretty hot honestly, nandito kasi ako eh." I said and shot her a wink. She mouthed me an edi wow. Hah! I won.

We were walking towards the exit of the mall when I heard a girl yell "Guys! Si Darren!". Oh no.

"Amethyst, what ever I do, forgive afterwards, okay?" I told her and she nodded. When I saw the girl
and her other friend come closer, I placed both of my hands on Amethyst's cheeks and kissed her.

No, no! Not on the lips, just on the corner of her lips. You know, the girls wouldn't think Darren would kiss someone in public. I could feel Amethyst's body stiffen and her cheeks heat up. Her eyes were wide open.

"Ay joke lang, hindi pala sya. Kamukha nya lang." The girl said and left.

I let go of Amethyst and she was just still in shock. She blinked her eyes a few times then went back to her normal self.

"Sorry, had to throw the fangirls off guard." I said.

"Yeah, yeah. It's alright!" She said and forced a smile.

"Kilig ka lang eh." I laughed at her.

"Di ah! Asa ka." She crossed her arms.

"What ever you say, Kylie. You have a unusual last name though. Are you half a different nationality?" I asked her then she suddenly bursts out laughing.

"You think Kylie is my last name?! Akala ko matalino ka, Espanto?! HAHAHA!" She said and kept on laughing.

"Gwapo lang, nagkakamali." I replied.

"Villaflorido is my surname." She told me and I nodded.

"Not for long." I whispered.

"Huh? I didn't quite catch that." She said.

"Wala, sabi ko ang pogi ko." I replied.

"Edi wow, D." She answered.
