This is a fifth torchwood series. Obviously, there will be major spoilers, but if you know the basics and about deaths and stuff, you will be fine. There will also be more minor spoilers for series one and maybe two.
In this series, you will see new characters and the return of old characters, both from Doctor Who and Torchwood. This will have some darker themes, but a lot less smut and graphic sex than you have seen before.
You will see a very different side to Jack, as while he keeps a mask on for the team, this has the Captain at his most broken.
