"Explain to me why I'm working on 911 when it also falls on a Saturday." I tell Kaitlin as I walk into the studio with my guitar and no Charlie. Chandler and Kaleb came over earlier to keep him company.

"Because it's your job Anna," Kaitlin says, "I'm working today too. So are Dillon and Mich."

"Okay, I'm ready when you are." I tell Dillon. Mitch gives me the thumbs up from the control panels. Dillon counts off before starting the 6:8 beats like I told him.

Who's gonna get the home run?

Who's gonna be the one to strikeout?

Who will be going home?

Who will be staying on the field?

I always watch you playin'.

Love to see you laughin'

There's a spark in your eye.

Can you feel it? Cuz' I can see it.

I see the passion of your heart.

As you're playing on the field,

It's the way that you laugh.

It's in the smile that you hold."

"I watch you line up.

And oh, how you're smiling.

I can't think of another time.

You were happier than now.

You'll never strike out with me.

If there ever is a day that you do.

I'm sure we will work it out.

Don't worry about me,

You just worry about you.

I'm happy when I'm sitting in the stands watching.

I see you're smiles and it's your laughing.

Your joy it's contagious.

With me and you'll we'll make it home.

"That sounds great Annabeth." Mitch says into the speakers. Dillon my drummer nods in agreement. Sammy and Danny are going to be added later. Dillon played drums for a garage band called Name of the Wild with Sammy and Danny but when their guitar/lead singer bailed on them. They put up an ad and I answered. They're the best; I don't know why anyone would bail on them to become a solo act. "We'll play it back for you."

I hear the play back of the song and I love it. "This is great Mitch." I tell him. "You're awesome at these remixes."

"It only works when the voice works." He tells me. "What's Charlie up to today?"

"He's recovering from a fast ball to the stomach." I tell him. "The competition likes playing dirty apparently."

"Well, my regards to him."

"Anne!" Sammy and Danny both walk in. Danny has his bass in hand.

"Hey guys." Sammy walks over to the keyboard and begins playing scales. "You look like you've been working hard Sam." She smiles and flips her dark brown hair over her shoulder dramatically.

Samantha, Sammy for short, age 17, she is the best pianist/keyboardist in the whole musical industry. She's been invited to every musical conservatory but turned them down in favor of the touring.
