I closed the car door, I felt a few rain drops but the top of my head. Were currently leaving the hospital Ollie was staying at, they were a bit hesitant because they weren't sure if letting him go so soon was the best idea. My mom said she wanted to spend as much time with Ollie as possible, staying locked up in a hospital wasn't a good idea either. I walked over to the passengers side and opened the door, I quickly got in and out my seat belt on. My mom started the engine and drove out of the parking lot, "Are you kids hungry?" my mom asked looking up towards the mirror. Ollie slowly nodded while I basically begged for food, I haven't eaten anything in the past 2 days. After a few minutes of driving my mom pulled over at an Ihop, we all got out of the car. I stayed close to Ollie not sure if he was stable enough to walk by himself, "I'm fine Sam." he said when I tried to grab ahold of his hand. "Ollie let me help you, you just got out of a hospital." I said again before taking his hand. This time he didn't try to pull out of my grib. Once we got into Ihop we quickly made our way to the back and sat down. I haven't eaten here in ages, last time was probably when I was 10, I missed being a kid.

*5 minutes later*

I put down the menu, I figured out what I wanted. A lady who was probably in her mid 20s walked over to our table, "Hi, can I take your orders?" she asked her voice a bit too high pitched. My mom looked over to me signalling to order first. "Can I have the triple fudge pancake combo, with an ice cream scoop on top?" I asked politely, she nodded. She looked over to Ollie, "uh...I'll just have what she's having." he said a bit shakey while tugging at his sleeves. The lady looked over to my mom, "I'll have the strawberry swirl combo with a scoop of ice cream on top." she said before putting her menu down. The waiter wrote all of our orders down and took out menus, after she left I turned to look out the window looking at the cars drive by. "So Ollie what school are you going to?" my mom asked I already knew that answer. "I go to the same school as Sam actually, but I take a few college classes as well." he replied a small smile on his face. The last part took me a bit by surprise, "You take college classes?" I asked him. "Yeah, I take writing, art, and high math." he said playing around with the napkin holder on the table. "You could come with me to one of my classes if you want." he added looking up at me. I nodded, I never knew Ollie was that smart. I mean I knew he was smart but damn college classes? The sound of plates being placed on the table shook me out of my thoughts.
