Focus. The word floated through my mind like a graceful butterfly. Focus your mind. Don't wander off.
Balancing on one hand while making three bricks float around you is no easy task. The first time I tried this, I by accidentally created a huge chunk in my astrotech droid. It had to be sent off to the workshop to get fixed immediately.
Luke Skywalker's voice drifted through my ears, like a gentle melody. In order to control the Force, you must let go. Focus.
I let my mind stay focused on the Force, on my feelings. The bricks slowly swayed around me, levitating in the air.
A sudden crashing nearby sent the bricks falling down. My mind snapped out of focus and I fell on the ground, my arm bent underneath the weight of my body. The bricks landed around me, one narrowly missing my head by an inch.
Shaking my head, I looked at the door, only to find my Master, Luke, in the doorway, his eyes trained on me. I sat up quickly, dusting myself off and moving the bricks-by hand- against the wall.
"What is it, Master Luke?" I asked, standing up. My strawberry blonde hair tumbled down to my shoulders. I ran my fingers through it to make sure it wasn't tangled.
"I came in here to find you. Please come." Luke simply answered, and without waiting for me, walked out.
I stood there for a moment, trying to figure out why Master Luke would call for me. The only reason he would call me would be to train more or to prepare for battle. But this seemed different. I could tell from his expressions and motions.
After realizing Master Luke had left, I scrambled after him, tripping on my boots in the process. I barely caught myself on the nearest wall. With a push, I ran after Master Luke.
He was walking along a narrow passageway with wires hanging around the ceiling and the walls covered in gray metal carrying the smell of rust. I was used to the smell, but still, it hit me every time.
After some more turns and walking down more narrow passageways, Master Luke stopped at a door. it was all white except for the big white dot in the middle. As he stepped a foot closer to the door, it magically swayed open. I wonder if he used the Force. Probably.
The room itself was quite big. It held a creamy-colored table sitting right in the middle of the room. It ran up and down, creating a halfway line separating the two sides of the room. Tall wooden chairs were placed all around the table. The room itself had a white aura to it, and I had to cover my eyes for a moment before I could readjust t see it. A radiating white were the walls.
Standing inside the room were Rey and Leia. They looked timidly at each other. Their eyes snapped to look at us as Master Luke and I walked in.
Master Luke took his position next to them as I stood a couple feet away from them.
I could tell that their was something important they were going to tell me. But they seemed to be too scared to even say it out loud. Leia's eyes had a slight trembling to them, as if she was fearful. Rey's gaze was as smooth and stiff as marble, but a look in her eyes told me she was feeling a teensy bit worried.
I cleared my throat. "So, why have you brought me here, Master Luke?" I said, my left hand resting in the table. My voice wavered a bit as I spoke, and I immediately hated myself for it. They would think I was weak.
Master Luke spoke first. "We have some... disturbing news." My eyebrows shot up at this. I was never told of the super secret news and such, only a few times. Anyways, only the best Jedi were told this. It occurred to me that no other Jedi was around. Why me?
