“I’m telling you, I’ve a really bad feeling about her” Alexandra Jasmine Morgan, AJ to her friends and family, had the phone pressed to her ear with her shoulder while she was making dinner. Wondering to herself why her best friend since elementary school, always found the wrong women to get involved with.  Every last one he's been with sense collage has all had major issues of some sort.  If they didn’t have an issue with AJ because she was female and his best friend, then they had issues of their own.

“AJ, you’re just reading her wrong. I’m telling you Amber is a great girl. Look she has a job as a receptionist at an insurance office. Give her a chance” Jason Johnson responded on the other end.  His voice was pleading and slightly agitated because this is almost the same conversation they have with every other girl in the past he has dated.  “She is nothing like Angela. She loves kids and wants some of her own.  Nor is she going to try to rob me blind like Samantha. Give her a while and you’ll see things will be fine. And she said the other day, after we had dinner there, that she thought it was neat that my best friend is female”

“I know that I just have a really bad feeling about her.  I just can’t explain it.  It’s like…,” She paused and sighed.  “I don’t know I just really have a bad feeling and you know usually I can tell you right off the bat what is going to go wrong, and you know it.”  She heard him chuckle on the other end.

At that moment her son yelled from the living room as her three year old daughter ran in the kitchen yelling, “I didn’t do it! I didn’t do it!”

Sighing deeply as Jason laughed on the other end she said, “I have to go apparently my children are once again trying to kill each other. Not to mention David is going to be home soon. I’ll talk to you later Hun.”

As AJ finished making dinner and dealing with her kids and daily routine her mind kept creeping  back to Jason, and all the bad relationships he has been thru over the years.  There was Jan who was sweet but had a violent side, that when it came out at one point actually punched AJ while she was 7 months pregnant with her first child. And all AJ did was walk in the door at the wrong moment.

Then there was Cindy who had no brains. Or at least that is what AJ still insists on today.  She had the perfect body, the perfect hair, the perfect teeth, hell even the perfect walk.  But, that is about all she had going for her. Jason had said he thought of marrying her but the day she actually mistakes a raccoon for a cat he had had enough and broke it off instead. Then it took him two weeks to get across that they were no longer dating.

AJ filed thru each female Jason dated over the years including the two worst that he had mentioned earlier.  Angela was extremely into physical fitness and tried to make everyone else go on the plan that she thought was beat all to end all. She also had a few problems with AJ and oddly it wasn’t because she viewed her as female competition. It was because she couldn’t understand why AJ would want to get married and have kids. She saw kids as an unnecessary complication that only made messes. Even said she would rather die than have kids. When she showed up at AJ with Jason for dinner one night she acted repulsed by Hanna and AJ's engorged belly (She was six months pregnant with Jake). Jason walked her right back out the door and told her to lose his number.

Samantha was almost con-artist status. For the six months that Jason had dated her she had been systematically robbing him.  All the while, playing the jealous girlfriend.  She would intentionally plan dates and events to interfere with anything AJ might have planned or not include AJ, or her family.  Then one day Jason came home to a note she left blaming AJ for the break up. Saying that AJ wasn't welcoming, and was jealous of her. That very same day he got a call from the bank thanking him for his business and was sorry to see him go. That was when he found out his account had been emptied and closed. He also realized that all his ID and charge cards were gone. It took Jason eight months to clean up that mess.
