Clarissa's P.O.V.
I'm worried about Abbi, ever since Sadie died she hadn't been herself. She's being all jumpy and really protective. "No, you can't go out and look for food." She says No this and No that. Honesty I'm going to lose it if I can't leave this truck. We ran until we came to a high way and found a truck that people had emptied. We are using it as a shelter, and last night we found out that there are 10 girls left. So this little game there playing is half over. "I'm going out for some air" Abbi says. "Can I please come with" I ask in desperation of fresh air. "NO! Stay in the truck" Abbi said opening the side door and carefully closing it. Oh screw you, I need some fresh air. I carefully opened the door trying not to make any noise. I hopped down from the truck and took a deep breath of air. I heard something, I opened the door to the truck and grabbed a gun. I walked towards the corner where the sound was coming from and I saw Abbi. Crying. I don't know what to do, I lowered my gun and walked over to her. I put my hand on her shoulder. She jumped and then saw it was me, she looked down. "Clarissa? Why are you out of the truck?" Abbi asked. "Because I needed a breath of fresh air." I said knowing she wouldn't be mad at me. Abbi put her hands up to her eyes and all there was left of the tears where red puffy eyes. 'You know Abbi, you can talk about it." I said trying to get Abbi to open up. "Your right, but I don't think now is the right time, okay?" She said walking back to the truck door, she slipped in and I knew that was all I was going to get from her. I climbed in and got onto my little bed, I don't know what time I woke up but all I knew was I woke up with a loud thud to the head. I sat up and found that the truck was moving. I walked over and looked through the little whole. Abbi was driving, "Oh hey, your up." Abbi said looking back at me. "Yeah, were are we going?" I asked a little confused. "Well there was a message left on the side of the truck. That we needed to go to an arena that is 100 miles away. So we are on our way, we will be there in about 20 minuets." Abbi said turning back to the road.
Someone's P.O.V.
"Fuck! Where am I?" I said sitting up and rubbing my eyes. "Hello?" I called out but nobody answered. I got up but hit my head on the low ceiling. "Watch your head." Someone said somewhere from the darkness. "Who are you? and where am I?" I asked looking around the best I could with my neck bent over. Suddenly the lights came on and I saw a young girl about Clarissa's age. She had wicked looking red hair, and her skin was very pale. "Why am I here? Am I dead?" I asked letting my eyes adjust to the light. "Ha ha ha, no your not dead. Thanks to us of course, you were being swarmed. If we wouldn't have got there when we did, you be dead." She said standing up. "Come with me," She ordered. I followed her and we came to a door and she opened it. We came to a long yellow hall way which we were able to stand up in. "I feel like I need to repay you somehow." I said, "Well you can repay us by helping us." She said walking though a white door. "Help how?" I asked curiously. "We are trying to find a cure, for this whole thing. What ever is turning people into "The Dead"." She said using air quotes with the dead. "Well I'm in then, and by the way what's your name?" I asked knowing I would need to know it. "My name is Beth, what is yours?" She asked back. "My name is..."
