Ohhhhh Crap!!

Abbi's P.O.V.

It has been four days since we last saw any of the other girls. I met Laurens boyfriend, I'm happy for her. She managed to find love in this hell hole. We need to leave soon because if we stay here to long we might get noticed or even killed. "We have gotten too comfortable" as Sadie says. I was nice to see my old dog again, but her died the day after we came. I kind of expected it, he had lived long enough. So we are planning on moving into some other houses, but there are so many places to go. We are thinking about traveling over to the strip mall, there is Target, Pick n' Save, and a bunch of mini stores. But we have to move out by tomorrow. "You used to live here, what is the quickest way?" Sadie asked seeming a little more comfortable around us. The quickest way is to drive there, so maybe we can find a parked car somewhere, and find the keys. Then there will be plenty of space to put food and supplies. "Then lets get going!" Sadie confirmed walking towards the door. I think I know where we can get a car, but it is a little ways in the direction of the store. "Fine, lets go already" Sadie said walking out the door. We got outside and I remembered that my moms car was in the garage. I ran back into the house and grabbed her car keys out of the side table drawer and went back outside. I started the car and we all got in, it is a good thing I know how to drive otherwise we would have to walk. I pulled out of the driveway and onto the street. I started to drive and then stopped at the corner. "Why did you stop?" Clarissa asked. I have to follow the rules of the road. I told them blankly. "Abbi, I don't think the rules of the road really apply to us anymore" Sadie said. Your right, I started to drive again and then got a little faster. I slowed down so that I could turn and we ran right into a dead person. We all shrieked when we realized that it was one of the other girls. We kept driving though, knowing that she probably wasn't fully dead. I wonder how many people are left. We turned the corner to find a HUGE car pileup. Something that we will have to get out and walk. It is only a short distance. We got out and left the keys under the seat, then started to walk. There were dead bodies everywhere, some I knew but I wasn't about to let them get to me. We reached the stores and started our raid, we grabbed shopping carts so that we could carry everything and then take it back to the car. Once we were done with shopping we went back to the car and loaded everything in. I started up the car and we all got in, I started to drive down the road and there was a huge crowd of the dead. "What do we do, what do we do?!!" Clarissa asked getting frantic. First close and lock all of the windows, then grab a gun from the back seat. "Ummm, I took the guns out to make more room for food." Sadie said acting like it was the best idea in the world. What!!! Crap then we are going to have to drive through them. I looked ahead and waited for them to get closer and then stepped on the pedal all the way. The car lurched forward and everyone was pressed to the back of there seats. The first dead we hit, went down easily, but then there were to many and they surrounded the car. Then next thing I did was put the car into revers and step on the pedal. I was going to have to take the long way around. Once we got back to my house we had to get into the house grab the guns and get back into the car because there were a bunch of dead at the end of the street. Now Clarissa was driving and Sadie and me were in the sun roof shooting at them. We got to my old Elementary/ Middle school, grabbed the food and got inside. We barricaded the doors and backed up and watched all the windows flood with dead people. We found a room that didn't have any windows and closed the door. Thankfully the power worked, but there was a bright flash of light and the smart board turned on and Chris appeared. "Good and bad news ladies, the good news is you don't have to fight in Waukesha anymore. The bad news is the new arena is smaller. You do however get to bring everything you have collected so far. There will be a helicopter on the roof, I have an understanding that Abbi knows how to get there? See you soon ladies" Chris said his last sentence and the screen went black. "So where is the door to the roof?" Sadie asked. It is down the hall and in the boiler room. We opened the door with caution and then saw that it was clear. Sadie and Clarissa were holding guns and I had all bags of food in my hands. Once we got to the room I opened it up and checked the ladder and opened the latch. A really loud noise was coming from outside once we got everything into the helicopter we lifted off and on to our new destination...
