Rico leaned against the trunk of my car as if i hadn't just told him to go fuck himself the last time i'd seen him. He looked up at my question, and no expression came across his face, but i could see the obvious anger flickering in those sexy eyes. I finally made it to my car and unlocked it putting my gym bag on the floor in the back. I started to walk around the front knowing why he'd come out to wait at my car. "What the hell are you doing here," he barked walking to my driver's door. "Good question, I'll answer it in the morning," I said sarcastically referring to the night we'd had sex.
"I'm not laughing at your little jokes! I told you to go home, handle your mothers business and stay away from these streets."
"Did you now? I must have forgotten. Your name must be Quincy Miller, if you're bossing me around," I said folding my arms and glaring up at him. I was so much shorter then him. He towered over me, battling his anger and clenching his jaw. "Don't make me the bad guy here. I'm just returning a favor to a man i owe my life too! He doesn't want you in these streets, everybody dies you just have to get over it. Now, get in the car I'm taking you home."
I scoffed. "Are you hard at hearing or something? You don't tell me what the fuck I can and can't do! I am grown! If I wanna play in the streets, I'll do it and if i wanna be a Machete I'll do that too! And as far as my father goes, he's not here to tell me shit so i don't want none of y'all mutha fuckas trying to play daddy around here. Yes he's dead and i'll get over it when i find the bastard who took my parents away from me! Now move away from my damn car before i hit you with it," I bark. Rico must have lost his damn mind, because he still didn't move. He walked into my space and glared down at me, but my eyes didn't break from his for a second. I was serious when i told him he couldn't control what i do.
He was not my father, a part of my family, my man, or my close personal friend. "Look, if I have to drag your ass..." "Rico!" Both Rico and I turned around to find out where the female voice came from. Monica came out with a huge smile on her face, making the anger in me rise even more. He turned his back to me and i watched her walk over to us. She looked at me then at him and put on an award winning smile. "I know in there you said you don't give out your number,so i wrote mine down for you. Just in case you do find the time to give me a few tips or show me a few pointers," she smiled and winked at him. I rolled my eyes at this old heifer.
"After losing four out of eight times, you should get tips from someone," I said not giving a shit. I pushed past Rico and tried to open my car door but he pushed it back closed. "Did I ask you anything?" She looked me up and down like i wasn't shit. "By the way how's your lip," she smirked. "How's your hand and arm?"
I could feel her glaring at me but, i was pulling out my phone to call a town car from my Uncle's business. "I'll think about calling you," Rico said noticing our attitudes toward each other. She waved bye to him and tried to switch her size 2 figure back into the building in those damn heels. "Thirsty trick." Rico looked at me shaking his head. "Jealousy doesn't look good on you, Jamie." "Nigga please!" I rolled my eyes and turned my back to him. Immediately thinking about what he said. Why would i be jealous of his over-controlling, egotistical, and bipolar ass, even if he is good-looking, and good in the bedroom, and great in the shower, and a gentleman...
"Ma'am i'm afraid Mr.Miller isn't here at the moment he went out. Would you still like me to send a town car," my Uncle's secretary asked over the phone, pulling me out of my list of good and bad Rico qualities. "Yes, if you don't mind can you send it as fast as possible at..." My phone was snatched out my hand and Rico hung up. "I told you I'm taking you home." He sounded so sure, I wondered if he even knew where I lived. "Um, I told you to go fuck yourself," I said taking my keys out of my pocket and deciding i'd get in from the passenger side. Rico tried grabbing the keys out of my hand and i jerked away! He was quick, but i was quicker.
