Break Out

Falling Apart

 Dean walked away and angrily began pacing, he couldn't believe that after all that's happened Roman and Seth would join forces with The Authority!  As he paced Roman joined him, he didn't say anything he just watched Dean pace, finally Dean stopped and looking at Roman spoke.

 "Why Ro? Why do it? Do you understand...I mean really understand what you two have done?" Dean demanded angrily.

 "Dean, this wasn't something I...we wanted to do, but we had no choice dammit!" Roman answered.

 "Then why do it? You just threw your damn lives away baby boy and for what?"

 "You want to know why we did it Dean? We did it for family, for you and Paige!" Roman answered upset.

 "You never should have agreed to work with The Authority!" Dean stated.

 "Not even if it meant freeing you guys?" Seth asked, as he and Paige joined them.

 "Especially for us!" Paige answered, Dean agreed.

 "So, what you're both saying is that we should have left you in jail?" Seth asked shocked, as Roman stood beside him and Dean stood with Paige.

 "Yep!" Dean and Paige said together.

 "I can't believe what we're hearing!" Roman said shocked.

 "Not only have you two thrown your damn lives away, you two have become the one thing Dean and I fought so damn hard to keep you from becoming!"

 "What?" Seth asked confused, Dean and Paige looked at each other, before back at Roman and Seth sadly.

 "Us." Dean answered, before they walked back to the car and got into the backseat together.

**Two Weeks Later**:

 The moon hung high in the night sky, as Roman tried to stretch his large frame out in the driver's seat of their car, so he could get some sleep. Seth slept beside him in the passenger's seat, while Dean and Paige lay together in the backseat.

 It has been two weeks since they broke Dean and Paige out of jail and unlike when he ran away with Dean months earlier, all four of their pictures; along with the pictures of The Authority, Woods and Kingston, were all over the news! They had to be extra careful where they went and what they did, since the entire Police force was looking for them. They had left town the night of the jailbreak and kept driving; taking as many back roads as possible to avoid running into the Police. They slept in their car as much as possible, the less contact with people they had the safer it was for them. Thankfully, Seth had been online and found them a cabin owned by a sweet and kind elderly lady; who after meeting the four of them agreed to rent it to them, of course they all had gone in disguise and given her fake names. They were getting close to the cabin, it was another couple hours away and they'd be there by late afternoon tomorrow after they stopped to get supplies.

 Unable to sleep, Roman sat up, before he quietly got out of the car and went for a walk to clear his head. He sat down on a rock and starred at the beautiful night sky as he sighed. His heart felt heavy, things were worse than ever between the four of them. Seth and Roman's relationship hasn't changed, they still acted like strangers and it ripped Roman apart! Then there was their relationship with Dean and Paige, both were just as angry at Seth and Roman now, as they were when they first found out what happened. The four of them argued all the time and when they weren't fighting they were giving each other the silent treatment. Roman took out his phone and smiling through his tears, looked at the many pictures he on it of the four of them.

 "Can't sleep either big man?"

 "It's late Paige, you should be sleeping." Roman said, as he quickly wiped away his tears and turned his phone off putting it back into his pocket.

 "Ro, I'm not going to apologize for anything Dean and I have said and done. I won't and neither will Dean."

 "Yeah, I know. Seth and I aren't either." He replied sighing, as he kept his back to her.

 "We know." She said quietly.

 "We did what we felt was the right thing to do Paige, we won't apologize for that."

 "Yeah, the right thing." She said sarcastically.

 "What's that supposed to mean?" Roman demanded, as he stood and looked at her.

 "Roman, how is joining The Authority ever doing the right thing?" 

 "We never joined them dammit!" Roman said angrily.

 "Then you and Rollins are more delusional than Dean and I thought! Once you help them one time, you'll never be free of them, don't you get it?"

 "It was a one time truce and we did it for you two!" Roman said upset.

 "You really believe that Hunter and Stephanie are just going to back off because they gave you their word they would?" Paige asked.

 "Yes, Paige we do!" Roman answered.

 "Then not only are you both delusional, you're both stupid too!" She stated. "This isn't over Roman, it never will be until The Authority says it is! You never should have broken us out!" She added sadly, before she turned and walked back to the car.

 "We did it because we love you." Roman said sadly, as he wiped away his tears.
