Break Out

A New Partnership

 Dean and Paige looked at Reed, before looking at Wyatt and his boys angrily, they couldn't believe they had walked into a trap like this, they had lost their edge.

 "You set us up, you lying bastard!" Dean yelled angrily.

 "You can't give Agent Reed the credit for us crashing your little party Deano! He didn't set you up!"

 "What the hell are you talking about Wyatt? What's going on?" Dean demanded.

 "You see, I called Agent Reed and asked for this little meet up to talk."

 "You said you'd come alone!" Reed stated, starring at the three members of his family with him.

 "I was, but then I did some thinking and after realizing that four Agents have already turned out to be liars, I figured you all were, so I brought backup!"

 "If you were already meeting with Bray, why agree to meet with us? What the hell kind of game are you playing Reed?" Paige demanded.

 "Oh, Reed you are a clever little Agent aren't you?" Bray said smiling.

 "What the hell are you talking about?" Reed asked.

 "After agreeing to meet with me, Deano and Paige called you with the same offer! So, not trusting me; which was a smart thing to do by the way, you agreed to meet with them too, making it for the same time and place as our meeting! You did this knowing that even though they hate you, they despise us more, so if anything were to go wrong..."

 "You're using us as your damn backup?" Dean yelled angrily, cutting Bray off.

 "You son-of-a-bitch!" Paige added angrily.

 "Now that we're all here and the there's no more secrets between us, you three can die in peace!"

 "The only ones dying are you hillbilly scum!" Dean said smiling, as he, Paige and Reed pulled their guns out, at the same time as the Wyatts.

 "I do love a good gunfight in the morning!" Bray said smiling. "Take them out boys!" He added, before he walked outside to their car.

 As soon as he was gone, Dean looked at Paige and Reed sharing a look, before he nodded. Smiling they shot first, as they separated diving for cover, as the Wyatts returned fire. As Dean crouched behind a wall, he was pissed that Reed had not only used them, but put their lives in danger! He peeked his head out looking for a Wyatt, he saw Harper near him and shot at him, but was surprised at how quick he was for a big man, he just managed to avoid the bullet, before he shot back.

 Paige hid behind some old barrels, as she shot at Rowan, she couldn't see Dean from where she was, she knew Dean could handle himself, but not knowing where he was scared her! She could see Reed though; as he fired back at the mountain of a man the Wyatts had brought with them. Paige had to resist the urge to shoot Reed, after turning down their offer, he still expected them to save his ass!

 The gunfight lasted 15 minutes, with no one getting hit, Dean had managed to join up with Paige and Reed behind a wall. As they shot at the Wyatts, Dean noticed that all three hillbilly rejects were near the front exit and a few feet in front of them were barrels of what he hoped was engine fuel! If he shot at them and they were full, they would explode giving himself, Paige and Reed a chance to escape! He told Paige and Reed his plan and for them to be ready to run on his signal. Then he quickly moved from behind the wall and smiling yelled for them to run, as he shot at the barrels. The three bullets he fired hit their targets and before the Wyatts could react the barrels exploded in a ball of fire, knocking all three Wyatts and Dean backwards. Paige and Reed saw Dean land and rushed to him, they helped him up, before they rushed outside. As they got outside they saw the Wyatts get into their car with Bray and take off, believing that Dean, Paige and Reed were still inside.

 Dean sat on the ground, leaning against Reed's car, Paige knelt beside him checking him out for injuries. He was a little banged up, but nothing serious, Reed called the fire in, before he turned to face them.

 "I'm sorry, I really am." Reed said gently, as Dean and Paige stood. "You two risked your lives to save me! You didn't have to, you could have left me when you found out the truth...thank you."

 "You're damn right we could have, but we didn't because like we've said from the beginning we aren't like our family." Paige replied.

 "I know that now, I was wrong about everything and I'm willing to talk about your plans to take down The Authority...just not right now! Police and fire will be here soon, go back to Roman and Seth, I'll call you later to talk!" Reed instructed.

 "What are you going to say happened?" Dean asked.

 "The truth!" Reed answered.

 "What?" Paige asked, as Reed smiled.

 "I received a tip The Authority were here, I came and was ambushed by the Wyatts!" Reed answered smiling. "Now go, before someone sees you!"

 Dean and Paige quickly went to their car and with one last look at Reed, they got in and with Paige driving this time they left.
