Coffee in the morning always seemed nice. Is it weird if your dreams were flashbacks? Maybe so. The dream was when we, as in Danny and I, met. It was hard to believe that I clearly remembered that moment. What was it that made me hate him? Loving him too much that I started to believe that he will never be mine? He is now, so that, I guess doesn't matter. We are watching a movie today. I am going to his house to watch Beauty and the Beast, it was my favorite Disney princess movie, ever.

Dressing in my purple tank top and skinny jeans, I walk over to his house with my DVD. On my way there, it seemed like a drunk teen, probably 16, was stating at me flirtatiously. Creepy. A while later I knock on Danny's door. Seconds later, Daniel appears in front of me. Danny would always wear a v-neck as "formal clothing". He usually paired it with jeans and black shoes."Hey, got the movie?" He was holding another balloon. It was a plain blue balloon, but it was decorated in Sharpies. It took a skillful eye to see the "two" formed with flowers. Danny handed it to me.

Smiling, I reply,"Thanks, and yeah. I have the original version, it isn't enhanced." I usually don't get anything but the original version because it seems nicer.

"Even better. Come on in." The faint smell of popcorn butter surrounded us. You could barely smell the vanilla air freshener that was sprayed probably 30 minutes ago. I have only been to his house once, when we had to do a project together. It was a average house, but the backyard was beautiful. Including a koi pond, a swimming pool, and a garden, it seemed too perfect compared to my backyard with patches of grass and a built-in basketball hoop.

"Okay, umm..." I smiled at him. I didn't know what to say. I slid into the couch. Danny went into the kitchen and brought out popcorn and lemonade nicely placed on a tray and set it on the coffee table.

"Bon Appetite," Danny said in a horrible French accent. It didn't matter, though. Cute was the word I went for. I took a sip of the lemonade. Seemed like he spent hours trying to perfect this because it was very balanced with sweet and sour.

"Oh God, this is amazing, babe." Noticing I just called him "babe" for the first time, Danny winked.

"Maybe I should make this more often, since you like it so much. My mom wouldn't mind me using all of the lemons because she always orders takeout." Danny's parents split up when he was 7. Although they aren't married anymore, they still retain a healthy friendship.

He barely mentions his mom. Mrs. Wattson is always at work, or she is at a meeting. "Oh, well, that would be fine." I take the DVD out of the case and place it into the player. Danny dimmed the lights, so only the faint sunlight coming through the curtains were illuminating the room. The movie began.

Disbelief. That's what it is called. Right when the beast lay on the floor, I started to cry. Danny put his arm around me for comfort. Nice of him to do that. Suddenly, right when he was transforming, the air conditioning kicked in. Luckily, we weren't that close to the vents. I half expected sparkles to fall from the ceiling. "Tale as old as time..." I unintentionally started to sing along.

"Song as old as rhyme..." Danny started to sing too. His voice was beautiful.

"Beauty and the Beast," we ended looking at each other. He leaned in, and I, being the hopeless romantic kissed him. I didn't notice until it actually happened. Simultaneously kissing along with the movie, I believed this to be the second best way to kiss, other being in the rain. The kissing lasted about thirty seconds. When we broke apart he had a little smirk on his face.

"What? Danny, really, what?" It wasn't clear if his smirk meant good or bad. But knowing him, it probably meant good.

He laughed,"Are you sure you haven't kissed anyone until me? Surprised me there, love." Danny had a faint British accent. He spent a month in the UK and developed an accent.

"I can surprise a person when I wanted to." I wanted to stay a while longer, but my mom didn't know I'd be out longer than 1 PM. It was almost 2 PM. "Oh, Danny, I...I gotta go." I took my balloon and DVD and left without a goodbye.

A gush of warm air surrounded me the instant I was outside. I have a mix of emotions. Once I reached my home, my mother asked how the movie was.

She had no idea.
