*Camila's POV*

Another week has passed. Still no Lauren. Still no Rusty. Clarke still struggling to adjust. It's been a week and I can still hear Clarke's screams of pain. Still feel the fear of her death. Still fear the concern in my heart that Lauren may have to go through the same pain in order to come back to me. Lexa says she has a plan to retrieve her but I'm not sure I can handle it. I'm broken. I'm weak.

*Dinah's POV*

It had been a week and still Rusty wasn't awake. Lexa gave me a tent so that I could move Rusty out of Octavia and Lincoln's cabin and look after her. Lexa had made sure the tent was beside hers so that she could be there for me and Rusty whilst keeping an eye on Clarke. Everybody was starting to give up on Rusty though. Octavia and Lincoln stopped visiting. Camila, Ally and Normani only visited once the whole week. But Lexa was there. Lexa believed in her. Clarke did too. Clarke often begged Lexa to bring her over to my tent so that she could check on Rusty's wound and how she was healing. It made Clarke feel useful I guess. It's the only thing Lexa was open to Clarke doing.

My hand gripped Rusty's tightly as I gently sung to her. I was done begging for her to wake up. She'd wake up when she was ready to wake up and when she did I'd be here. I'd be right where I need to be. The tent opened and soon it was crowded with Camila,Ally,Normani,Lexa,Octavia,Lincoln and Clarke. I quickly stood, releasing Rusty's hand, then closed off her section of the tent. If it was her they wanted to see they could've tried earlier.

"What's going on?"
"It's time," Lexa's voice was firm but her eyes were soft. I stood defensively in front of Rusty's section of the tent.
"Time for what?" I asked looking over each persons face. Lexa removed the cape from her arm before turning and nodding at Clarke. Clarke stepped forward and handed me a pile of clothes with a blade on top.
"Change and then we'll discuss," Lexa said before giving me a nod. I excited that section of the tent and quickly changed into the armor I was given. The armor I wore when I went into battle. The armor I was wearing when I had to carry Rusty's dying body back. The armor a part of me was slowly dying in. I returned to the main area of the tent where everybody still stood.
"I Lexa kom trikru," Lexa took a step forwards and placed her red cape over my shoulder, "pronounce Dinah Jane," she said as she clicked the cape on and nodded at Clarke who began to apply the black paint to my face,"a member of trikru."
Clarke took a step back and admired the work she had done on my face. The black was smudged around my eyes making me look like a raccoon.
"Do you Dinah Jane accept the trikru brand," Lexa asked in her firm commander voice.
"I Dinah Jane accept to become one with trikru," I replied firmly with a nod and Lexa smiled at me, pleased with my reply. Lincoln then came up removing a steel pole they had placed in my fireplace with the brand symbol at the end. I bravely rolled my sleeve up and hissed quietly as the heat met my skin. I needed this. I needed to become something. I craved to be something bigger then myself all my life and now I was. Lincoln removed the pole from my arm leaving the mark of trikru on my skin.

We excited my tent and I noticed all of trikru surrounding it.
"I give you Dinah Jane kom trikru," Lexa said as she grabbed my hand and raised it. The crowd cheered as they welcomed me. I was 1 of 6 to be introduced to trikru and was so proud I had earnt my place. Now it's up to the rest of the girls to earn theirs.
