What is happening to Me?

//POV change for this chapter. I will probably do this for chapters focusing on Soo Hyun or Jong Suk's view in the story.//

Soo Hyun slammed his fist against his steering wheel once he had trudged back to his car. He didn't usually get angry. He was over all a very sweet, solemn guy. Somehow Minah had made all of his emotions run wild. That realization only made him more upset.

"Why him? Didn't you hate him?" Soo Hyun thought aloud. His fists clenched.
"Minah....I was supposed to protect you."

The buzz of his phone only made his mood worse. The caller ID read "Lee." Usually just the sight of her name brought a smile to Soo Hyun's face but that had changed almost over night. He didn't understand any of it. His girlfriend didn't even make him happy at that moment.

"Hi cutie!" Lee's bubbly voice rang through the phone. Soo Hyun responded with a low, mumbled hello.

"Umm...are you ok? Are you busy today? I was hoping we could go get dinner tonight. Maybe something classy?"

"That's fine. I'll meet you at the restaurant. Where are you thinking?"

"How about The Willow? I hear they are having a special couples sale! We should go, love!" Oddly, Lee's cheerfulness irked Soo Hyun, but he managed to keep a friendly tone (as weak as it was).

"Ok. Sure Hun. I'll see you then."

"Dress nice!!"

The call went silent and so did Soo Hyun.

The night life was already in full swing when Soo Hyun was on his way to meet Lee. He worse a black suit, too perfect to be real, and his finest dress shoes. It wasn't too odd for him to dress up considering he worked in a formal setting constantly. He felt odd in that moment though. He felt almost uncomfortable walking around in his usual suit on his way to a usual dinner. Yet everything was unusually unusual.

He arrived at The Willow to be greeted by a dolled up Lee. She worse a lace-pink dress with high heels tall enough to almost reach Soo Hyun's height.

"Hi love!" She giggled and wrapped her hand around Soo Hyun's arm. Her carefully pedicured hands glowed against his pitch black attire. "I've already ordered wine and this cheesecake they said is to die for! Are you excited?"

Soo Hyun nodded and plastered the most convincing smile he could muster on his face. The entire time all he would think was "what is wrong with me? Why aren't I happy?"

Lee couldn't pick up on the subtle disappointment which was lucky for Soo Hyun. She was too engrossed in the fine wine and fancy clothes. That was expected of a cute rich girl like herself.

"So honey. Where were you earlier? I texted you but you never responded. I had to call you." Lee pouted.

"I was out."

"But where?"

"That's none of your business" Soo Hyun snapped. He quickly averted his eyes from the shocked Lee.

"Wha-...Soo Hyun! What is wrong with you! That's so rude! You're going to embarrass me at dinner? What has gotten into you?!"

"It's noth-" Soo Hyun stopped just as the glint of the glass door reflected in his peripheral vision. Minah shuffled in with a dazed and upset look. She was dressed beautifully in a black, gold, and violet dress with flowers of embroidered gold covering the hem. She shoes had worn bottoms like she had been running for ages. Her hair was jostled slightly but not enough to notice unless you were really looking.

She bowed apologetically towards a hostess who was trying to calm her.

"Ma'am" Soo Hyun heard the hostess speaking,"are you ok? Would you like a table?"

Minah nodded and quickly shuffled behind as she was lead to her table. She was placed at a two person table by the window. He watched her face in the reflection of the window. Tears were dropping down her pink cheeks.

"We should just end this tonight." Soo Hyun blurted. Her called a waiter over and quickly paid the bill. Lee, looking shocked once more, huffed angrily and stomped out the restaurant entrance.

Soo Hyun turned his attention to Minah, slowly making his way to her table. He sat down gently, making sure not too alarm her. She was obviously on edge.

"Minah?"

She jumped up and quickly wiped her tears away.

"Oh Soo Hyun! What are you doing here?" Her voice cracked.

"Nothing. I did have plans but they were canceled. What's wrong?"

"It's nothing. I just had a small fight with  my husband. That's all..."

"A fight?" Soo Hyun studied Minah and noticed a small bruise on her arm and scraped areas on her palms and elbow.

"Did he do that?" The anger was already boiling over, "tell me. Did Jong Suk do that to you?"

Minah remain silent but shook her head.

"Minah!!"

"No! He didn't. He didn't do it."

Soo Hyun was still unconvinced. "That ass will pay for this. He's gone to far." Soo Hyun threw himself from the tabled and stomped towards the door. Minah called frantically after him but it was no use.

Soo Hyun was gone.

//I felt like I should probably release another chapter considering it has been so long. I'm going to try to finish this story for you guys soon. I want to get as many chapters as possible done. I owe that to the people who have waited for me to get off my ass and write some more. I'm sorry! Thank you for reading!//
