The Caller

"What the hell?" Jong Suk stormed into the room. He had made his way to a penthouse suite where the call had come from. It was in a very high end hotel in Seoul called The Beverly.

"Did I bother you? I told you it was an emergency." A woman spoke smugly from the dimly lit room. She twisted her long nails in the gold chains hanging around her neck. When she stood from her white couch, she was very short and fragile looking. She could have been cute if she wasn't dressed in leopard prints that suited her way too well. Her lips curled into a grinch like smile.

"What do you want? You ended something very importa-"

"Oh hush." She cooed. Her hands reached around Jong Suk's neck, caressing the back of his head, "You didn't miss too much. We both know you don't love her. It's just a business deal."

"Get to the point." Jong Suk hissed.

"Oh don't be so grumpy. I've been blown off before and just look at me. I'm fine. Minah will be fine too." She smiled, bring her scarlet lips close to his ear.

"Speaking of..." she twirled on her heel and made her way back to the white couch, "We need to...discuss Minah."

"What about her?" Jong Suk became more curious and worried than hostile.

"She is just a burden. I can get rid of her. Your business deal with her family will still be valid but....she won't be in the picture. People disappear all the time, dear."

Jong Suk remained silent.

"What do you say? We can get married. Then the money just grows..." She cooed again.

"I'll talk to you later about this. I have to get home." Without a second glance, Jong Suk was out the door and on his way home.

The woman smirked to herself, feeling very sure of her proposition. Her attention was drawn to her phone as a familiar caller ID lit up the screen. She flicked her finger to answer.

"Hey, have you seen Jong Suk? I'm at his house but the car isn't here?"

"No, honey...I haven't. Is something wrong?" She spoke sweetly with slight annoyance, "is this what has been bugging you?"

"No, never mind. I'll talk to you later. Night, Lee..."

"Goodnight, love."
