A hellhole was an understatement for what described the pit of trouble I was in now. My grandfather stared at me with a sinister grin. I could see my mother's demon form rise from the ash of the smoldering area around us. My body was burning like lava as my blood boiled to the point that it had melted through my veins causing me to form fissure that now surrounded my skin.

My tail remained with me even to this end, as blood red scales ran across my fluke like a second skin which was making my mind melt from within. My hair had incinerated to the extent that only flames remained, and as for my eyes, flares flowed from within my closed eyelids. So, how am I able to see myself, well simple, my soul no longer resides in my body as Hades control me in place of my spirit, instead.

My maniac grandfather has me captive inside his head. Here's the bonus, I am not alone, my mother's soul is in here with me. The horror of it all was she never wanted to capture me in the first place. In fact, for the whole summer, she was her father's pawn, and her body could only obey. To each of our dismay, our demon bodies were now his slaves.

I wondered what my grandfather was going to do with us. I felt that the only way we could stop him was for us to work together, but we were captives inside his head. I might as well be dead. Then suddenly an idea came to mind, but for it to work we would need to die. My mother was stunned by the thought.

"Wait a second you can read my thoughts?!" I exclaimed while facing mother's spirit form.

"Yes, Lilian I can." She answered telepathically.

"Do have any idea on how to get out of here, Mom?" I asked mentally with my mother looking at me more hopeless than before as I reached for her hand.

Suddenly energy started to course through me as I held her hand which caused Hades to freeze his frenzied onslaught on our family while our bodies bended to his whim to wipeout everyone.

"How did you stop me?!" My grandfather's thought said as it rang within his corporeal echo through our ethereal forms.

We had found a way to control Hades from within but his minded still reigned over this realm and our raging corpses. I looked to my mom while her holding our hands high above our heads staring  into her soul.

"I love you always, Lilian." My mother confessed to me telepathically with a ray of light engulfing my spirit as she was turned into a heavenly aura which surrounded me.

I was endowed with newfound powers as I could now control Hades' husk of a body with ease but not with very little complaint from my grandfather's mind that echoed throughout his hollow hull. In a split second, I took steer of the helm directing an attack towards the demonic remains of Lilian's mother.

With a single swift strike, my mothers remains were no more, but sadly I now faced the most fiercest challenge of all as Hades' mind still controlled my burning berserker beast body with a now ruby-scaled, bloodied red mermaid tail.

As if the time for battle had reached its peak as my Damien's father laid alongside his wife, my aunt Armana, both dead with Damien knocked unconscious on top of them. My father was pinned to the wall by spears in each arm, as well as, in his fluke. By the look of his bloodied cranium, he was going to die if things didn't stop now.

I faced myself as did Hades with the intent to end this dark day. Then an insane idea came to mind as I held my claws with fire emitting from the cracks within my fists and struck both body's insides with a killer blow to each of the combatants.

"Why did you do that, Hades screamed from within the confines his body as my body crumbled to ash while her grandfather's heat was now being extinguished from within making him turn into snow white dust. In that moment, my soul ascended out from within the heartless hole inside Hades to the heavens in the sky while disaster still reaped below.
